My parents are elderly and have very limited mobility. The wanted an updated bathroom that was more suited to their physical needs and what they got was something that is complete crap! Joey and his father "tried" to remodel my parents bathroom. First of all, they use the cheapest line of harbor tools available which should be a indication of their lack of skill and knowledge. None of the crown modeling that was installed was cut properly. It was either cut short, chipped, or splintered. Their solution was to try and cover up the large gap, chips, and splintered miter cuts with caulk which after being painted made a gummy mess. The rest of the trim work was just as bad. The drywall work was no better, with cracks forming in the joints immediately. In others spots the joint compound had fell out and they tried to cover it up with paint. They also installed a shower that was too wide and too short for the bathroom requiring a wall to be built in front of an existing wall. This wall was built directly across from where toilet was to be placed. Their solution for that was to install a smaller toilet which still only left 12 inches of clearance and totally uncomfortable. This wall also partially cover the window too. The shower head was leaking right after they finished it's installation. Joey "tried" to fix the leak two or three times with no success. They ruined the brand new shower head by using excessive amounts of some kind of putty on the pipe threads that melted when the hot water was on.This caused it to run into the shower head and clog the orifices. This also caused a water leak inside the wall. Joey claimed it would take 3 weeks to get the correct shower tray and that he could make the bigger one work which knew was impossible. My parents gave joey and his father the benefit of the doubt. My parents are not out thousands of dollars with a bathroom that is not what they wanted and does not have the accessibility they require. And as for the correct shower tray not being available for 3 weeks was a lie. I could have had one shipped to parents house in 3 days.
