Recently had some plumbing jobs done on some multi-family homes. Most of the work was done satisfactorily. The plumber was unable to fix a leak on the faucet of a bathtub. He spent quite a bit of time on it as he had to go to the plumbing supply store to get parts. He wanted me to tear apart the tile so he could use another avenue to fix the leak. I contacted another plumber who was able to fix the leak right away without having to tear apart the tile. He charged me $125 so I asked Ted Noonan if he could give me a credit for that amount off my bill. He refused. I always like working with the older generation of business owners as they understand about good customer service and customer loyalty. Last thing- their plumber works slowly so be careful about over paying and paying for jobs that may not be necessary.

While I would give 5 stars to the sales and installation team, I would give 0 stars to the marketing & maintenance side of this business. In 2013 I hired Noonan Energy to replace a furnace, replace a standard water heater with a heat-pump water heater and to install 2 Mitsubishi heat pumps systems: one smaller unit with one indoor “head” and a larger system with two “indoor “heads”. In 2017 the smaller unit stopped cooling my bedroom, though it gave every other indication that it was functioning. A repair person fixed a loose connection and added refrigerant. In 2018 I had Noonan Energy install another two “head” system. In June of 2019 I signed up for their one-year “Comfort” service plan, primarily because they stated (and it still states on their web-site) that:
“Priority Service
Cooling Comfort Plan customers receive priority scheduling for any unexpected issue that may occur. Rest assured that we will be there for you during the hottest days of summer and all year round if you should ever need us. If a call is placed before 12:00 PM, we guarantee same day service, if after 12:00 PM, Noonan Energy guarantees next day service.”
I called almost two weeks ago and was connected with a technician who said that he had no refrigerant in his vehicle, but, would put it on the schedule for the following Monday (May 18). Nobody showed up, nor did anyone call or text. It was not much of an issue then, as cooler weather settled in. I called this afternoon (Thursday, May 28) and was told by the service manager that he could not get anyone here until next Wednesday. I have been sleeping in a recliner in a room that does have working air-conditioning because the bedroom is too warm to sleep in. So much for their integrity! And, by the way, the bedroom unit lost its refrigerant again in 2019 and had to be re-charged last June. The small cost of the refrigerant brought the total amount that I have paid Noonan to $26,827.62.
