Needed a concrete slab that would raise up above ground level. They said that they would put in weather barrier. I purchased dirt to raise up the foundation because houses on both sides of me had nice high foundations and my property is lower than both sides, so I bought dirt. They did not raise the ground level with the dirt I purchased and they either keep it for another job or they threw it away and charged me $200 for hauling it off. When they came to do the work, they had been informed that my property was low in the first place. I had sent them photos of what was needed and expected. My foundation and driveway were poured, and no expansion joints were used and the next day after pouring, cracks appeared and ran from front to back and from side to side. The pillars were not fully enclosed. They also did not even the concrete but made it high in the middle and sloped it at the edges. When I try to change light bulbs or do anything on a ladder, it's not level and being on a 12-foot ladder, is dangerous for a 64-year-old woman. They said that I could pay in 2 payments. The first payment was paid before the work and the second payment was to be paid "AFTER" the pour. I received a phone call stating that they needed the rest of the funds before they would pour the concrete. I wasn't able to check out the work that they did because they wanted to be totally paid-up front. So, they were able to screw me the whole way around. My concrete slab is lower than the ground level. I just threw away $7200.00 on a sunken concrete slab. Now I have to find someone to fix everything they screwed up. I tried to contact them about their job but, after several phone calls and emails, no one replied, so therefore I'm taking them to court.
