    Flooring, trim and stairs
    $36,000

I had really high hopes of using this business based on Facebook reviews. Unfortunately my experience was not the case. Writing this review to save anyone else looking for a company to do your home remodeling. Do Not Use Them! You’ll get excuse after after excuse of delays including that other projects take more precedent than yours. They left my stairs half demolished because of their poor planning and business structure. You will also have to send texts and phones calls again and again to get into their schedule and also be the one to figure out the order of things in your project and staying on top of ordering the materials because no one will tell you what’s coming next and when. The whole company decided to take a vacation (no issues with the vacation) but at least tell your clients that there will be a delay and why. Lack of communication and just general poor management skills. They’ll have no issues reminding you that payment is due but they will have a million and one reasons why they can’t coordinate with you on the project. Again do not use them. Wish I saw something like this before working with them.

    Kitchen Bathroom Flooring/Millwork
    $85,000

We contacted Sharaya after seeing the work she did at our neighbors home. She came over and gave us a bid for getting our 1985 home a complete makeover. From the start to finish we loved everything about this team. They showed up daily with a great attitude, worked all day long before cleaning up and heading home. (Weve hired other contractors in the past who show up for an hour or two then we don't see them for another few days).

The guys became like family since we spent every day with them for 2 months. They did a full kitchen remodel, 2 bathrooms & all new flooring/millwork throughout.

This team is top notch & were so grateful we found them!

Well I can say my experience with Norton Home Remodeling has been very positive. They did a flooring project for me in Spring 2020. Had one issue at a Newell Post that they corrected without question. Spring 2021 the did a Quartz Counter and Tile backsplash install for us. Again, they're contractors & installers were great and did exceptional work. I myself have had no issues dealing with either of the owners. Occasionally had to wait on a call back, but nothing that pissed me off to the point of frustration. They also just finished a small water damage project for my in-laws and as always, did a great job and their installers were wonderful with my 86Yo in-laws. I will hire them again without hesitation.

    roofing and flooring
    $0

well my experience was a bit more complicated than I'd expected.. had the wife of the contractor talk to my husband about coming out to our home to check out the damaged area of our room.. he did not show up on time and did not even give us a proper estimate for the job. simply unprofessional and not to mention untrustworthy. I'd say don't waste your money and time with the company!

    Install hardwood
    $10,000

We had our floors redone by the Norton team.. its was a frustrating experience to say the least.

    1. When they finished with our floors it seemed all of the floors had dropped half an inch. This caused our bathroom pedalstool sink to break when they tried to reinstall it. According to my cameras this is something they had known about first thing in the morning but waited until about 5:00 pm to tell us. When the job was "done". I contacted the owner and she stated if we got a new one, they would install it but it would cost extra.
    2. There are places where the subfloor should have been replaced and it now feels like my floors are sinking in about five spots. When we called to ask how this could be corrected they told us they would have to remove all of the new flooring to fix. This should have been fixed prior to the new floors going down.
    3. Asked the owner to order transition pieces. Which didn't happen right away so when she did order them, They where out of stock. After waiting over a month to get the transition pieces laid, they install the wrong ones! It was clearly not the correct color. I reached out to the owner and she apologized and said she would personally pick up the correct ones on Monday and get everything done by Monday afternoon.
Monday comes and goes and I message the owner without any response. The next day I let her know how unacceptable this is and she has the audacity to get upset with me for calling her out on her poorly managed business.
She then went on to say she was in surgery all day and didn't have her phone and that clients usually pick up their own products (which she never told us to do).
I told her how unhappy I was with her service and she basically refused to take any accountability for her terrible service and lack of communication. I will never ever recommend this company to anyone! You are better off figuring it out on your own!!!!

Install tile in the kitchen and bathroom
    $3,000

We hired them to install the tile in our kitchen and bathroom and our experienced with them we’re very frustrating and upsetting: they didn’t show up on time, there were miscommunication and demands that were not communicated to us, they will threatened to send you to collection if you don’t pay the final payment when they want it/or when job is completed because you want to inspect their work, and get things repaired before the final payment is made, especially when payment is not even due yet. They will changed the due date to
force you to pay, which l think is illegal. I feel as a customer we should have the right to inspect their job before paying the final payment (in case there’s things that need to be repaired), because it’s easier to get them to do it then than waiting after payment has been made.

    Bathroom remodel
    $80,000

We originally contracted with Norton to remodel two of our bathrooms. But when their contractor broke a pipe (without turning off the water main) and caused extensive flooding to our home, we ended up needing more extensive repairs, and Norton said they'd work really hard to make things right, so we agreed to have them as our contractor for the downstairs flood repairs too. I later regretted that choice, because although they said they could most likely have everything done by August, it wasn't actually finished until November. They didn't keep track of things we had talked about and verbally agreed on, and were constantly forgetting what needed to be done. One example was that after months of reminding them, we still didn't have outlet covers for all the outlets (some required cutting to fit, so we couldn't just do it ourselves). They broke our water heater when moving it back in and wouldn't pay anything in compensation because they claimed it was too old. There were many no call no shows when they were supposed to be at our house to get something done. In all fairness, the quality of the work was good. Things did eventually turn out looking pretty nice, but it was such a rough few months along the way trying to get them to actually do it, I wouldn't call them for jobs in the future.
