I didn’t have an opportunity to work with Nelson because we went with our repeat contractor but he was professional, knowledgeable, on-time and forthright about the job.

Nelson Rego took on a job for me that no other company wanted. The only other company willing to do the work was 7k more than Nelson’s quote. For this project he poured a new basement floor along with new knee walls to support my stone foundation. Project was done because I dug my basement out 3 feet to gain head height. Job came together fast and looks great.
While he was here I asked for a price for a stamped concrete driveway and some walk ways and I couldn’t say no to the price he gave me. He fixed the entire grade to the front of my house, prepped the area perfectly and poured and stamped over 3000 square feet of area. It is a show piece and truly shows how much pride he takes in his work. Neighbors have all been over to compliment the work. Extremely pleased with the outcome and price of this project -

By far the most honest person I have ever dealt with what he promised me I received and only paid when the job was 100% complete I would hire him again when I need something done. Highly recommend him.

Heck no!
We contracted to have a concrete slab poured and for a concrete retaining wall repaired including overlay and a stamped, poured concrete cap. We were told that the wall would be powerwashed, scraped, and prepped (milk) prior to the overlay and a cement cap would be poured and stamped. When the forms for the wall cap were taken off, there was already a crack in the cap which we were told would be repaired. The concrete wall was scraped, however, it was not powerwashed or prepped (milk) prior to the overlay. There were cracks in the overlay on the wall right away that we were told were going to be taken care of. Now, two weeks later the overlay is actually washing right off the wall and the paint beneath the overlay is showing through. The concrete pad was poured directly on dirt in spite of the fact that the contract said that it would be poured on a mesh material. The pad was poured 1/2 one day and then 1/2 another day so there is a ripple between the two pours. This person got our money up front and did a terrible job never returning phone calls after he had our money and didn't come back to resolve the issues with his sub-par work. We've been advised by the local authorities to get a quote from a professional concrete contractor to fix the mess that was created and follow up with a civil suit against the company in small claims court. Unfortunately, it is evident that we are not alone in this mess and he continues to take advantage of people (to put it in language that is acceptable in this forum). -

Absolute scammers. Do not be fooled by Nelson or Eli Rego. They are cut from the same cloth. Promise a low price and quality work and deliver broken promises and crumbling concrete. The guys have scammed so many people there are Facebook groups about them.
They operate under Nelson Rego, Eli Rego, NR concrete, Stampcon, E&B construction and probably more.
They resurfaced a walk and handicap ramp for me and both failed almost immediately. They put down such a thin watery mix of concrete that is was more like paint. It wore completely through with foot traffic in three weeks. What did not wear through, cracked off due to a lack of bonding adhesive.

Nancy Ann Medeiros To all of Nelsons friends just want to let you know what kind of person he is . I hired him to do my yard in concrete, he took $14,000 of my money and left my yard in a mess...he never completed the work and he is avoiding all of my phone calls and text messages. I signed a contract with him on April 18th, 2018 ..3 months ago and he has not completed my project...he took my $14,000 and spent it on god only knows what. I will be going to the police because what he did is considered a Felony in Massachusetts. Taking monies in excess of $10,000 under false pretenses and not delivering a service or product.Hello Nelson it's Nancy Medeiros can you please get back to me. I have tried calling many times you and it goes right to voicemail. I need to know what is going on.

Hello Nelson you need to get in touch with me immediately. I want to know what you have used my money for since I have no product at the house and the job isn't getting done. I trusted that you were a man oaf your word but you obviously are avoiding me...I refuse to be screwed over again...please get in touch with me to rectify this situation or I am going to have no other choice to take this to the authorities...either come and do the job or return my money. I know you are receiving my messages and avoiding me by not responding. -

Do not believe their latest review about a walkway and fire pit with the nice Portuguese man. This review has been posted by the owner under different names on different sites.
Neslon and Eli Rego are scammers, pure and simple. I hired them to perform a simple resurfacing of a walk that flaked off just 4 months later. After being promised a repair on 4 occasions, Eli simply ghosted me.
They move from place to place after eviction or foreclosure and Eli was arrested for animal abuse to his own dog while a dispatcher for a police department. (google Eli Rego, Bellingham MA)
If these are the type of people you want working on your property - have at it but be warned.

I had my walkway and fire pit done a few months ago by them. I wasn't completely sure on what I wanted and the owner suggested doing stamped concrete. I'm so glad I did! It looks absolutely beautiful! From what I could see, they guys that came to do the job worked hard and got it done in a good amount of time. They were nice guys and some days I would make them a snack or give them something to drink. The owner is a nice Portuguese man who always made sure to stay in touch with me and let me know everything that was going on. I highly recommend them! I like to support small businesses and this is a good one.

Nelson Rego should be in jail. He is a scam artist. He poured the concrete directly over the grass. Undercut us by about 200 feet. The entire pattern is crooked and double stamped. I have boot prints and wheenbarrow marks throught the entire pad. His workers splashed concrete over the 4 sides of our hot tub, all over my fence, gate, house and arbor, with actual cement hand prints on my gate. The entire pad is pitching directly into my basement door which now floods with any rain. Numerous attempts to contact to reach a resolution with no response. We are now seeking legal action. I've been in contact with about 12 other people he has screwed over in the last 6 months.

Beware when dealing with this company. NR Concrete took our money for materials and workmanship and disappeared. We have recently discovered we are not alone. NR Concrete began a job at our home in Southeastern MA, back in January 2017. Since that time, the company owner Nelson Rego, has broken dozens of promises and commitments to complete the work. 6 months later with summer upon us and our backyard a total unusable abandoned mess our only alternative was to have the work completed by someone else. At this point we have no alternative but to take legal action to recover our money.

Hired for three projects. Did not dye the concrete with the color asked. Left Duncan Donut cups in yard after working. Did not stamp and dye the face of the stairs. Said "you can't do that" but Youtube clearly shows how to do it. Then the contractor stamped and dyed the other steps...so clearly you CAN do it. Only stamps and dyes the surface. Not the sides of the concrete. Only has two stamps so you are stuck with a very limited selection. Finally, made a concrete mess all over the yard with no clean-up. Concrete splats as far as 20 feet away from the work site. Concrete found up on my rocks, poured in the street drain, and a HUGE pour of concrete just outside my yard near the street. Lastly, cancelled 4 days to finish the job which was not pleasing.
