If you have chosen expensive hardwood material, this is probably not the contractor for you. We have a step down living room in our house and they completely butchered the step. It will have to be completely redone. The stair nose material alone was over $600. They smeared the wrong color of wood putty all over. The corners don’t line up in elevation. It looks truly awful and it’s in the Maìn entrance of the house. Some of the ugliest boards out of 2000 square feet were used in the most visible places and the most beautiful in closets. The floor squeaks and pops. Language and communication was a constant problem. They are really nice guys but the quality of work was disappointing.
