Nutech Roofing and Construction

My experience with this roofing company is terrible and still ongoing as they have failed the city inspection 4 times trying to do my roof. I have a blue tarp over a freshly installed new roof, In fact the last time the city building inspector came out for a final inspection that was called in, the company finally just put about 6 blue tarps on my roof to keep the water that pours into my house down to a trickle.
I have been calling the company and talking to Christian, Justin , David and Chris for months, but still nothing has been done to fix the failed inspections or the multitude of leaks in my roof. they keep telling me they will fix everything, but like everything else they promised me it is all lies and stories.The dry walled ceilings in my house are actually falling down around our living space, we have taken pictures and other item on shelves down and into boxes so that they don't get destroyed when the dry wall falls to the floor. I have hundreds of photos of what they did wrong when they re roofed my house that even a structural engineer registered in Florida said that it was the worst he has ever seen in construction. They have to completely tear off the new roof that they put down and re-nail the plywood correctly and then re shingle again. So with all the structural damage to my house and then all the interior work that needs to be replaced my house is a total mess and I am sure the value has plummeted as well. I surely can't sell it the way it is now, and not for the value of the that I bought it for, and being taxed for as well. So for your safety and peace of mind run away from this company as fast as you can. They are the worst that this state has ever licensed. In fact I have complained to the BBB, Hillsborough consumer protection agency and the State department of business regulations as well, but there is not to much that they can do right now.

Run away from this company as far as you can!!! The biggest liars ever. We signed a contract at the end of May and according to the contract they were supposed to finish all their work within 2 weeks. Guess what! Now is middle of September and the job still not complete. At the beginning, we paid them half of the amount on the contract, they did some work and after that they just dissapeared. We called them hundreds of times. Most of the time they didn't answer nor called us back. Or if they did answer, they’d give us hundreds of tales, like 'somebody died, I was sick, the weather supposed to be bad', etc. Finaly we met them in the middle of July in our house again. They asked for more money to finish the job , and have promised again to finish everything within next two weeks and signed that on the contract. We did pay what they asked and after few days their supervisor, they call him "GL", called us and said that electrical panel has to be replaced to pass the inspection. We were surprised, because the electrical panel was ok, but he was calling like 3-4 times a day and insist, that inspector, who came to inspect our house told him, that this panel has to be replaced. We paid to Nutech Roofing & Construction Inc again money in advance for the electrical panel itself and labor. After that they dissapeared again. No answer to phone calls, didn't finish their job, didn't replace the electrical panel. They just ignored us. We did contact the owner of the company, who has promised to finish the job asap. But now even the owner is not responding. Having no more options I went to Pinellas County Construction Licensing Board and wrote a complain against Nutech Roofing & Construction Inc. The inspector told us that nobody ever came to inspect our house. It means that their supervisor "GL" just needed money and created that story about electrical panel. I did talk with one of our friends, who hired Nutech Roofing & Construction Inc in the past as well and he said that he also had a lot of headache until they completed that job. He said the same thing, that he would never ever advise anyone to use this contractor. So I would strongly recommend to everyone, if you’re looking to hire a contractor, skip this one if you want to avoid a lot of problems in the future!
