★☆☆☆☆ Not recommended — two-stage system wired as single-stage & zero follow-up.
Chose Michael Jin on a friend’s referral (not the cheapest; picked on trust). Communication good until they finished and were paid. After that, replies almost stopped.
Upstairs didn’t cool. No second-floor return. When I asked for a quote to add one, contractor barely responded and finally gave an insanely high number—then admitted he priced it that way because he didn’t want to do the job. Fine.
Later I discovered our two-stage Lennox ML17KC2 A/C + two-stage furnace were only wired with 18/5 (Y1 only; no Y2, no W2), so the equipment can’t actually run in two stages. Asked them to come back and pull proper wire or refund the wiring charge. Multiple texts (and a nudge from the mutual friend) have gone unanswered.
If you care about performance, efficiency, or after-sale service, hire someone else.
