We are eco-friendly here. We love doing solar and energy efficient upgrades like LED lights and occupancy sensors.
While I am new in business in California, I am not new to the electrical business. My family moved out here from Oklahoma in 2015 to enjoy this great weather and the beach. Prior to coming here I owned Freedom Electric in Oklahoma City. I started it in 2008 and gave it to my friend when I left. We have hundreds of happy customers that relied on me to get their power back on in ice storms and back up when the tornados reared their ugly heads. We are happy to be here in southern California. My wife, son and two daughters have all adapted to the area. We have many adventures planned in this great state.

We had Nye Electric install our whole-house fan in September of 2022. Kevin and his son (this is an honest father and son, family owned business) provided and installed our whole house fan in about 3 hours. From the initial consultation to the install, he was on time, courteous, efficient and clean. His prices were lower than many competitors, but the fan and install were much higher in value. Recently, we had an issue with an outlet in our kitchen. There was the smell of arcing and the chain of outlets in our home-office were going out sporadically with the problem outlet. Not having an electrician, I called Kevin, asking if he was able (and willing) to come out. He was happy to and had I only checked, would have found he is a full-service, licensed and bonded Electrician. He came out, spent about 10 minutes diagnosing the problem, replaced the wiring, (noting some of the 50+ year wiring was bad) and replaced the outlet. Once again, he and his son were fast, neat and I was pleasantly surprised by the cost. He and his son are more than fair with the pricing and most require a 125.00 + minimum show up cost, whereas Nye's charge for the entire service, including new wire and outlet were less. We are thrilled to be able to rely on Nye for all of our electrical issues and have already referred them to several friends and family members in the area for a trustworthy, reliable and excellent contractor.
