My experience was terrible as well. The solar panels were NEVER finished and I was still waiting for them to work even though I was leaving. Panels were installed in September, were still NOT working by the end of December!!! Excuse: city of Tulare, for the permit for the panel! Always an excuse. This company is a SCAM as is the owner. I was PUSHED into getting these extravagant panels and taking out a LOAN of over $74000!!! I was fed a bunch of LIES, including government refund in taxes, that the panels would work at the end of October, and that when I sold my home, I would easily transfer that loan! All LIES!!! I was pushed to take out a LOAN, there are NO advantages whatsoever. My last electrical bill was $445 for using a little heat in an older home!!! Still NO solar energy! Horrible people, SCAM artists, crooks and thieves as well. They use intimidation to get what they want: duress!!!!!!, Stay away from this company and especially the owner. He is a Pastor and it is hard to believe that he can treat people the way he does. He stole my house away from me as well by pushing me under DURESS to sign a Quit Claim Deed. Stay away from this scam of a company. The person who pushes you to take out a loan works on commission and it also intimidating, so he will PUSH you to do something you do NOT want to do. These panels do NOT even work! Now I have to deal with the loan company and let them know they need to NOT trust O Solar Sam.... I have been through HELL with this Sam Dominguez and I have to hire a LAWYER against him! I hope this companies gets shut down! He is a SCAM artist and he will get what he deserves in life: what goes around comes around. Stay away. The owner Sam Domingues comes across as a nice gentle person who sells his PASTOR side. Then he will become aggressive and pushy and make you do things under DURESS!!!! What a nightmare it has been for me to deal with him not only with these scam of solar panels but a despicable investor.... Stay away!!!

This contractor by the name of Sam at O Solar Mio pushed a family member to remove a recently installed solar system they recently got stating they should go with him various reasons he felt justified in. He removed the system and now the other contractor and finance company are putting a lien on the home. It’s a complete mess. Stay away from Sam Dominguez’s advice!

We hired this company to install solar panels for our church. After nearly a year of delays, the system was completed in February of last year, and we were assured everything was working. But one year later, we received a $12,000 true-up bill.
After contacting PG&E and having technicians inspect the system, we discovered the panels were never properly connected. 16 months later, the issue remains unresolved.
Despite acknowledging the problem, the company has not taken meaningful steps to fix it. We've made repeated calls (over 10 times in a day) with no response. We're deeply disappointed by the lack of accountability and follow-through.
Our church is suffering financially due to this ongoing issue. I’m writing this review to help others avoid the same experience. In our opinion, this company lacks the professionalism and reliability you’d expect for such an important project.
If you're considering solar, we strongly recommend choosing a more responsive and trustworthy provider.
