WARNING
DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY!!!!!These guys are complete FAKES and just out to scam.
Shaun, Juan and Ryan came to us to give us a exterior paint job quote.
They proceeded to spend the next 3 hours showing us ‘before’ and ‘after’ photos of their work and explaining with great detail how our house is covered with mould in the wood brand and stucco so this is going to require a lot of inner work to fix ($25K worth of work to be exact).
They even showed us a NEWS video of how mould destroys homes!! They really wanted to scare us
They literally showed us photos of where ‘mould’ was taking over our walls, and used that to pressure us into signing us to repair the mouldy wood.
They also promised that any issues we had or any questions- no matter how big or small- that if we call one of them - JUAN/ SHAUN/RYAN that one of them would be there same day IN PERSON to discuss and fix.
They also spent time wanting us about ‘bate and switch’ contractors who charge double but actually just hire a subcontractor from Home Depot.
Guess what!!
The first day comes and they actually had the nerve to send out SUBCONTRACTORS who then just patched our walls like a band aid solution and there was ZERO work done on the wood like promised.
My husband asked the subcontractor are you going to expose the wood and fix the mould? HE HAD NO CLUE WHAT HE WAS TALKING ABOUT.
They proceeded to just apply stucco to the cracks and there was no mention of mould at all.The subcontractor actually did us a favor because the instant he touched our ‘MOULD’ with water… guess what… it disappeared! Never mould to begin with!!!!!!!!
THESE GUYS ARE OUT LOOKING FOR OLD PEOPLE AND VULNERABLE FAMILIES TO SCAM AND TRIPLE UP CHARGE.
They approached us and sold us 100% on a lie.
The only reason we caught this is because my husband has done contractor and labor work for 15 years and instantly noticed they weren’t doing what they said they would on day 1 so we pulled the plug straight away but PLEASE take this as a WARNING to NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY.
When I called Shaun to ask what’s going on he said ‘I’ll call you right back’ and we NEVER HEARD FROM HIM AGAIN.
We’re undecided if we’re taking legal action and havn’t ruled this out yet.

BUYER BEWARE! This company is a scam. They do subpar work. My 77 year old father was tricked into getting his home painted by this company. They didn't do half of the work promised. He used their finance company Dividend. On his contract, it states, his monthly payment would be $98a month. He received a bill almost double the amount. Some young lady from the company can by today and said Oh! Shane is the worse salesperson at the company. Then I made a statement, "Why do they keep him if he lies to customers?" She says, " because he's a family friend of the owner".

By JqSeptember 25, 2020House and carport roof and replace of wood on carport$29,500
Honestly, this company is the worst
At the beginning they act so friendly and they wrap you by saying they give lifetime warranty and their work in 100% guaranteed.
Everything is a lie whith this company. They replace the roof of my house and car port. They said that everything was going to look like new. Which in fact it wasn’t like that . I called them (Juan and Ryan) about my concern that there was a lot of rotten pieces wood that still need it to be replaced. They said we were going to meet at 10-12pm to talk about the problem
Its 12:30pm and nobody showed up I send a text to Juan and he didn’t reply. It’s frustrating dealing with this company.
Be careful..do not let them in to you property don’t trust them.
They will over charge you. .. they don’t have any good experience..
Do some research when hiring a company...

I hired Ocean Exteriors to redo my roof and couldn't be happier. The sales person was friendly. The team came on time and cleaned up after themselves. I personally am pretty OCD and can't stand when contractors leave a mess behind. I told the workers that this was a pet peeve of mine and they cleaned up after themselves. My roof looks great and I couldn't be happier.

I am writing this review with very mixed reservations.
Oceans Exteriors appears unsolicited at your doorstep. They give you a sales pitch related to texture coating your home. The advantages are many. Lifetime warranty, better energy efficiency, etc. Long story short, I signed a contract for their services.
They make it convenient to begin the work. Work begins it goes smoothly and completes early. Representative comes for final walkthrough and completion documents. This is when it begins. You need paving (bricks) or it will ruin your texture coat ‘plus it’s better looking and will add value to your home’. Signed for that also. Again they begin quickly and complete the job. The pavers complete work efficiently and relatively fast. Compliant about the pavers they leave trash strewn about at the completion of each day. Bottles, food wrappers, etc. Also the material they installed looks nothing like the photos shown during the sales pitch. In the photos it was smoke gray, a darker gray and a charcoal gray. After installation it was light gray and another color gray that is a couple of shades darker than the light gray. Worst after the first rain following completion I notice water coming from under my refrigerator. Thinking it’s the fridge, I pull the fridge out (which is very difficult) to inspect. There is no leak from the lines leading to the fridge. Thought maybe it was a door left open and that’s what caused it.
Next time it rains same thing water under my fridge and it’s brown. Mind you I have never had water under my fridge prior to the pavers completing their work. I investigate in the 2 other rooms in my house on that side of the house and the edges of the carpet are wet nearest the East wall. I go outside to inspect and find a large pool of water on that side of the house. My conclusion is that when the pavers installed bricks and paved that side of the house that through design flaws it is causing the leakage into my home. The paving (brick) installation and design did not take into consideration the contours of the property which are done for drainage purposes. Meaning the paving should have been at ground level and/or the paving itself installed at an angle so that water would run away from the house as designed.
Also they have had several sales persons appear unsolicited at my home to sell me energy efficient windows for the 3 portals on my house that doesn’t have them, roofing and rain gutters all under the guise of protecting your texture coat. They do not want to take no for an answer.
Last insult regarding this, I called a representative of the company about the leakage. He came listened to what I said, challenged that the paving caused it. Wanted to pull the fridge out again to take photos and when I said it took nearly 2 hours to remove and replace so I declined to do so at 7 in the evening. I asked him to come back Saturday, he said he wasn’t working. I said I could take photos the next day. He said I could stage it to make it look like it was wet or some such b.s. I was livid.
Ocean is unscrupulous and lacks integrity, don’t use them and the last insult there website does not allow you to submit anything but sales inquiries. The location I dealt with is Carson, CA

By a user in Buena ParkSeptember 8, 2017Paint exterior home$15,000
Wow, I just kicked out a representative from Ocean Exteriors from my dads house for arguing with my 75 year old father for charging him $15,000 for putting a water sealant coating over his 1100 sq.ft home and leaving the north side unfinished. Check them on yelp, they're horrible, quoted a different price, took the deposit, forced my father to come up with the money early and did a horrible job. I yelped them, they brought a rep here who argued with us endlessly and said he would do the north side for $1000 more. Watch your seniors, we will be following up. I actually told the guy to get a different line or work, I would never defend this company.

By AnonymousFebruary 25, 2015$1,60060 dayshorrible company
Bunch of conartis and I am very sorry to say I fell for it. This is the worst company I have ever dealt with. They never come when they say they would, they make promises they can't keep. They blame each other when confronted. Julio came in like he had all the hookups and could get us whatever we wanted and then blamed everybody else when he didn't do the work he said he would. He came in promising us a kitchen in a week. He gutted our kitchen and then left us with nothing, no stove, no sink, nothing for 2 months. I have three small children. They tried to get us to sign the release of funds before they even started the project. Luckily my husband reads through everything before signing and had them take out the clause where they keep 50% of the funds if we back out of the project. Non of the contractors read the contract apparently. Because I truly believe that they thought that clause was still there, I believe that they were dragging their feet waiting for us to back out so they could take off with the material and half our money. Once my husband told them that clause wasn't there they hurried up and got the job done and didn't do a good job at that. The mangers came over to make sure we signed the release of funds and promised us a dinner for the inconvenience they put us through and never gave us the gift card. Beware, the last name they went by is New image remodeling. Beware! Beware!

I don’t know how good this ocean company can survive for many year for this work , and how they send the sale person such as the one who cheating with lied about my house project roofing to be done with the agreement . He make me sign and change many contract paper instead the originals contract from the beginning. He tell me because the permit not cover all roofing’s house I never see any company making like this guide, so he make another agreement to excuse then after that he make another agreement to work on garage another time such as a mess from the city they apply for tear off roofing but they do overlay for my house , the saler never explained any way to the owner so we didn’t happy with this company I don’t suggest any house’s owner should let ocean company do any thing for your house….
