Ogo Stanley Olekanma
Owner
Our home had an issue with two ceiling fan/lamps and a shower light/fan combination connected to a solar tube. We have had a few other electrical issues and I was concerned we may have a broader problem. I was also concerned that an electrician could gouge me for unnecessary repairs but I had to get these issues fixed as my efforts had failed.
AFC Home Club referred us to Ogo Electric. Ogo came within the time frame agreed upon. When he arrived he listened patiently to my explanation of the issues. He carefully troubleshot the problem from the box, to the switch, to the various parts of the lamp/fan for each of the rooms. He discovered that the circuit would no close and showed me the issue with his meter. He traced it to a component within two of the fans. He found a safe and inexpensive way to correct the issue and ensured I understood it and that he received my permission before correcting the problem for the two rooms. In the shower area he found that there was a need for unique lamp set that went with the solar tubing, which we needed to acquire. Ogo only charged use the standard home warranty deduction for his careful and diligent work. Ogo carefully cleaned up after his work and was careful with our home when he was in it.
This was a basic set of work for an electrician I am sure but for a home own with only Internet searches and a limited understanding of a testing device that I attempted to use it was invaluable. I very much appreciate Ogo Electric’s integrity and work ethic. We will use him again soon for an exterior lighting repair and we highly recommend him to anyone else.
