  these clowns belong in the circus and not in the electric industry. the “technician” who was sent to our house by American Home Shield (the company that runs the circus show) was: 1. as their name says, OLD; 2. had no clue as to what he was doing (or talking about); and, 3. misdiagnosed the problem to make it fall under an exception to our policy with AHS. In fact, the technician told us at the conclusion of his inspection that the problem was not covered under our policy. i have no idea how this technician knew the terms, conditions, & exceptions of our policy with AHS. even if he was told of the policy we had, including all of its terms, provisions, & exclusions, it is: 1. NOT his obligation to inform us that the job was not covered under our policy; and, 2. obvious that, prior to coming to our house for the inspection, he had already determined what the diagnosis was, one predetermined and assuredly not covered as it fell under an exclusion of our policy.

  Replace ceiling fan

  I had Olde Time Electric assigned to me by my home warranty company. Gene immediately called me and setup an appointment for THAT DAY and was right on time. He needed to come back to replace the fan that was not repairable and he setup another appointment with me and again, right on time.
  This guy is a hard working 70 year old vet, so you can definitely see he's a tad abrasive. But he was very nice and pleasant, and even shipped my son a hat because my son liked dinosaurs. Stand up guy. Would definitely recommend. But don't expect a 30 year old putting on a big sales pitch song and dance. He'll do the work and he'll do it well!

  Attic Fan

  Olde Time Electric was submitted to me by my warranty company. He was on time as stated . Corrected problem and answered all questions I had. He was courteous, professional, and friendly. Will hire him again.

  GET ANOTHER CONTRACTOR

  I had Olde Time Electric provided to me by my home warranty company. He was rude and told me to not ask too many questions. He made disparaging remarks about the warranty company and lied to me about requested test that was needed (and approved by the warranty company). He refused to test the one thing he said he fixed (a light fixture) saying it wasn't in his 'scope of work'. He then told me he would not be able to do the 'simplest test' for another issue b/c this was work done via the warranty company and they wouldn't pay him.
  He told me that I shouldn't watch him do his 'discovery' or any of his work to which I told him it was my home and I wanted to learn. "There is nothing you could understand here", he said. Wow.
  Unprofessional. Dishonest. Unwilling to help.

  I had Olde Time Electric license # 34EB00623600 do some work at my house. He stepped on our marble kitchen counter his foot went through it and he is refusing to give me his insurance company. And is denying he broke the counter and he could not fix the low wattage lights. I had to bring in another electrician.
