This contractor is as honest as they come, and his work is impeccable. I had no problems with him coming in my house to do the work while I was away, and everything was beautifully and masterfully done. We never had any problems contacting him.

Unreliable and doesn't keep his promises! Assessed our job, told us he will start in six weeks. In 8 weeks, after requesting when he will start the job several times, he indirectly informed us via someone else that he would not do the job. Tried to contact him, requesting him to call so we can discuss the situation further. I was willing to wait longer if required. He wouldn't even call on the phone. Unfortunate.
