Permits
- Building permit records show that Olympus Custom Homes has worked on 92 permitted projects.
Don't trust this company. Found Jose/Caesar, JC Construction on buildzoom. He failed to deliver quality work and never returned to finish.
- His measurements were wrong and had me over purchased ~1000 sqft of extra flooring, which is non-refundable.
- They misplaced the nuts and bolts to one of my ceiling fan and left it there.
- They broke my side gate (without my authorization to even enter the side gate)
- Walls have excess joint compound in all corners. The railing on my stairs has like a couple ~4-5 inch dried compound on it. My leather couch has drippings of compound.
- They are not experts in painting and they didn't even use paint tape; guess what happened? All edges have dried up paint drippings. Most of the walls have zigzag patterns, as if they rushed to paint the walls and got out.
- They proposed the timeline of 1 week and used it as a reason to expedite the drying process of compound and painting by blasting my heater 99F. I had to call and complain before they lowered down to ~78F (that's still really high). I took the family out of town thinking to help and be out of the way for the construction workers to work; however, I didn't realize how much drywall dust was sanded down and with their bright idea to leave the heater, all that drywall dust is now sitting in my vent system, which I just replaced 1 year ago.
- I provided them with construction plastic rolls, and they didn't even use it at all to contain the drywall dust. With no containment and heater blasted for 1 whole week 24/7, my whole house was filled with layers and layers of drywall dust. I arrived home with the family Sunday night ~11pm and we had to go through each room to mop the floors, dust the walls & furnitures, and wash all our clothes.
