My heater Fan blower would go on but wouldn’t turn off. They showed up within the time frame, replaced a contactor wire, and still didn’t work.
Then said I need to have the unit cleaned….not covered by home warranty. $160.00 out of pocket.
Then they said I needed a fan motor relay switch. Installed that and still didn’t work. Then said I need a whole new heating unit.
I just had a new blower motor installed 7/30/21. I would NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY.? I am getting a second opinion and paying out of my own pocket. -

Today was my first experience with On the Horizon HVAC, Inc. To be honest after reading through some comments, I almost called Landmark to cancel this appointment. But Landmark dispatched them to get a 2nd opinion. The first contractor had look up the code on my furnace and mediately said that my motor module was needing to be replaced. Rigo was the tech who showed up to my house. He was knowledgeable, professional, thorough and checked everything step by step. He finally determined what the real problem was which was not the motor module and turned out to be the AC unit contactor and a defective thermostat that possibly went bad when the contactor failed. My AC is up and running and I am very thankful for Rigo and this was the best technician that any of the home warranty people have dispatch to my house including American Home shield and Choice. Thank you Rigo and On the Horizon for repairing my unit. A happy and satisfied customer.

I cannot even justify rating them1 star! The engineer has taken 2 days to do a job that has not even been completed, as we still have no AC. He claimed the job was done and left our property in exasperation yesterday. If he couldn’t do the job he could have asked for backup. We also found out that the diagnostics of the job were not logged as at COB yesterday. He left our property at 2pm. Sad thing is they are not taking responsibility for an unfinished job! Landmark need to vet their contractors properly with good work history before taking them on.

Their poor work caused 18lbs of freshly installed freon to dump into my house. I have a 2 month old baby! The freon was so thick in the air that it caused the smoke detectors to go off. I called them to see if we should be concerned about the "toxic chemical"floating through the air and they never called me back. So we decided to go to a hotel. The next day when their sub contractor came out he proceeded to tell me that freeon is "Not dangerous at all." Google it and see what comes up and tell me a 2 month old would not be susceptible. Had we turned on the heater the night before instead of in the morning after he went to daycare, there's not telling what would have happend. Worst of all, the company was completely unsympothetic. Had he tested the system properly instead of rushing through, he could have seen there was more than one leak. Oh and by the way from what I can tell they changed their name from Sunrise AC which means they've had so many issues in the past that they could very well be trying to avoid previous issues and insurance claims. That's not always the case, but with this company, I highly suspect that is what is going on. We're fixing their mess with A1 Air out of lewisville so far I'm super impressed with them.

My experience with them is terrible. They started working on my furnace and charge me $620 and it would not function. I did not want to pay them but they assured me that it would be repaired and work. So after further inspection, they recommended that the furnace to be replaced and they would give me credit back for my $620. They have not installed my new furnace as promised and they will not return any of my phone calls. I want my money back for unfinished repairs.
I will be reporting them to the Better Business Bureau and the Texas department of licensing and regulation to let them know that this is not a reputable company.
