The good: The bathroom remodel looked great when it was finally done months later than promised.
The bad: Cost almost double what we were originally told, even though we scaled back some elements. Crew confiscated extra materials that we had wanted to keep. Materials were ordered over and above what was needed, things we couldn’t return that cost over $1000. Lax supervision of crew and orders resulted in a host of minor issues that caused headaches throughout the process. And required us, the homeowners, to assume oversight responsibilities that we were being charged for.
The horrible: Two significant installation errors discovered afterward. Barn door not hung according to manufacturers instructions caused the support to rip out of drywall two years after finish. Shower pan not level, so water pools in corners. And no response from One Call when we tried to follow-up three years after finish.
