It’s taken us a while to come up with exactly what to say regarding our experiences with One27. To be completely honest, our experience has been lackluster at best. If you do a blue tape walk through before a house is closed everything on that list needs to be done PRIOR to closing and not rushed the day of the closing. We were moving in and people were still painting our front door, the mantle, and attic door. We actually still have the blue tape in portions where things were NEVER addressed. We have cabinet drawers that don’t open correctly and of course we were told they’d be done. Trying to submit anything through this warranty company is an ABSOLUTE JOKE. It takes weeks, almost months before we’d ever get a response from you. We were promised things would be fixed like our yard from Blake that never were done only to then be told that it was a “natural” area even though on one side of our yard it was completely graded. The day our flooring was to be replaced, Blake dropped the ball and didn’t have a painter, plumber or extra trim lined up for the flooring manufacturer to replace if needed. We now have damaged trim all through your our house. We’re missing shingles already. It took MONTHS upon MONTHS for anyone to address the left trash in our yard from the contractors. We’ve dealt with so many issues with our home in the last year. A light fixture hanging from a ceiling that wasn’t installed properly, our fireplace not installed correctly, our A/C unit needing work within weeks of us moving in, a shower that cracked in the master bath that needed a fix. The list honestly goes on. We have a screw hole near one of our can lights in the kitchen. It AMAZES us that the only way someone responded to my husbands calls the day our flooring was installed was because HE PRETENDED HE WANTED TO BUY A HOME. What that comes down to is that One27 is only worried about taking peoples money without the quality of work or integrity of work behind it. We will never suggest someone buys a home from One27 as this company has very poor customer service.

By Max Y.May 5, 2021Oversee the building of my house$305,000
We love our home, minus the fixes that still need to be done, but my biggest issue is with how the yard was/ still is completely destroyed by scraping off all the top soil (not replacing with good soil, but leaving clay and sand only), not leveling/grating properly, not having the seed done properly and in a rush and leaving a TON of garbage buried in the ground. We have found concrete, metal, nails, siding, plastic, soda cans buried all over. I had to pay for someone to come level my yard properly and they were also shocked at the amount of garbage that was left over buried in the yard. The house itself is great, but I feel no attention was paid to the property outside of the house.

After careful consideration I would not recommend this builders work. I purchased a new home in Riverwood and am very surprised at the quality of work.

Purchased a home in Clayton, NC from One27 Homes and within 10 Months all of the "Upgraded" flooring on the 1st floor started buckling so bad you could stub your toe. Opened a warranty claim, they sent out an inspector and said the flooring was not installed properly. Now they have ghosted us for over 3 weeks! will not answer our phone calls, text messages or emails. One27 Homes is a JOKE!! All the 1-Star Reviews are true. Take it from an actual homeowner living through their extremely poor customer service. Think twice before buying one of their homes and having to deal with this nightmare!!
