We had a nightmare experience with Opal. Things started off well but quickly went downhill and we began to discover serious construction defects. The project manager was very unreliable and weeks would go by with excuses for why work was not progressing. Like the other reviewer here I don't understand why we didn't find more negative reviews about them. We have discovered other homeowners who have similar problems with the homes they purchased or renovated with Opal. The owners are very arrogant and refuse to take responsibility for any mistakes. I regret every hiring them.

This builder cut corners and left in disarray. Not all was bad, but overall very unprofessional and unreliable. We don't understand why we were not alerted from other reviews.

We also had a nightmare experience with Opal. I would echo the comments of the other reviewers here in terms of being shocked that we did not see more negative reviews about them online. We experienced major delays, unreliability from the project manager and construction defects. This would be appear to be a pattern of behavior. Hiring Opal was one of the biggest mistakes we have ever made.
