I have had nothing but trouble with my concrete installation. First, I had a tree that Optimize stated they could put a curb around and keep in in my patio. During demolition of the area the patio was to be placed, Optimize stated that it would not work and the tree would have to be removed. Optimize stated they would charge me 1200.00 to remove the tree (a small fruit tree) and I stated that was too high a price. As I was trying to get someone to remove the tree (a relative - for free the next day), Optimize took it upon themselves to pull the tree over with a Kubota. Then, had me provide the chain saws and labor to cut it up and charged me to haul it off. Side note: I had pavers removed that my family came and picked up that they did not have to haul off that were much heavier and that haul amount was included in my pricing. Next, Optimize trashed my sprinkler system, did not cap off all the pipes under the concrete and attached an always on faucet to a non working pipe, then poured concrete over it and it hardened at an angle - so crooked and did not work. Before the pour there was a pipe under the concrete that went to a flower bed on the edge of the patio. I asked if they were going to place it in conduit and they stated it would be fine. Concrete was poured and when I turned on my sprinkling system, the pipe under the concrete that ran to my flower bed was broken and lots of water poured out of the seam of the concrete. I had to cut the pipe, cap it and call sprinkler people to come and repair the damage. They drove over my lawn and broke other sprinklers and threw shovels of concrete in my flowers and left concrete on my lawn. I also had issues with them removing some of the demolition debris and had to tell them I would stop payment on their check if they did not come and pick it up. I have tried to contact Optimize and so far they have refused to reply. I feel they need to make good on their work, either by paying my plumbing bill, or offering to seal the concrete (which I thought was always included in a concrete pour, but found out it was not in my contract). I am very saddened by this. They have been paid and I bear the cost of their damage to my yard and sprinkler system AND need to seal my own concrete. I am not a complainer, but I really think they should at least pay the bill, or seal my concrete in lieu of paying me back.
