Oracle Design + Build

We asked Oracle to enlarge and completely renovate our small master bath. We were able to enlarge the room by expanding into a closet area from an adjoining bedroom. We also asked them to refinish the adjoining bedroom and build a new closet space to replace the original closet. During the planning stage, Chris was very careful and thorough in making sure that it would be possible to do what we wanted to do. The plan involved major plumbing, framing, and finish work, including moving the toilet and building a new shower in the former closet area. Chris’ experience in the field proved to be a great asset as he was able to steer us away from choices that would have caused problems or would not have worked well. Caroline provided great design advice and help in choosing fixtures, tiles, and finishes, all of which contributed to a beautiful, cohesive look. The Oracle teams were very professional and their work was excellent. Team members clearly took pride in their work and the results reflected that. They were friendly and respectful and were careful to protect our home. They covered all the surfaces and everything in and around the areas where they were working and they completely cleaned up at the end of each day. Chris monitored the progress throughout the course of the project to make sure that everything was on track and he quickly addressed any issues that arose. He always kept us informed about the work schedule and when inspectors would arrive. The work was completed on schedule, just as promised. We’re delighted with our new master bath and refinished bedroom. We will certainly use Oracle again for future projects.

We have worked with Chris and Caroline on several major renovation projects to our home. They've done a major renovation of our master bedroom where we changed our sitting room and tiny master bath into a walk-in closet, double vanity and huge shower. We loved the crews who worked on our projects. They were consummate professionals! They respected our living spaces while working and each day they cleaned up after themselves, so we never felt as if we were living in a construction zone. Each day they swept, wiped, and otherwise cleaned up. They were friendly and answered our questions. They seemed to really enjoy their job and their craftsmanship shows through in the final products.

As they were working through our first remodel, they discovered some issues with our home that no one could have known about. It was probably poor construction from when our home was originally built. Those issues, of course added to the cost of the project, but the prices to fix the issues were very competitive and we felt comfortable having them fix things because we knew it would be done right! We came in close to our original cost, only going over because of poor original construction and additions we wanted as we moved forward.

What was so wonderful is that our work was done when they said it would be done. Again, since we had a couple of issues and asked for things to be done, it took longer than originally planned, but it was done by the amended time they projected. Every inspection and walk through were quick because they had done things right the first time. This meant our projects moved forward quickly.

We highly recommend Oracle Design. Chris and Caroline understand what people need, are willing to work with your design needs/wants and they try to stick as close as possible to the cost. Their crews are friendly, professional and do beautiful work! We have recommended them to anyone considering remodeling work because we know they will be so pleased with the results!
