I highly de-recommend Josue (Josh) and Orellana Construction Services. The damages during the last 3 months experiences dealing with Josue and Orellana Construction has brought to us is not just significant financial damages, we also suffered from lost 3 months (delay of remodel of our house as they left everything unfinished), emotional drainage dealing with Josh’s countless lies and ridiculous excuses. It has been a super stressing, nightmare-like experience to deal with a contractor like Josue Orellana, who does not know the basic practices of construction work, and who ignores LA city codes and basic quality standards, and who is lack of integrity and in absolute absence of honesty, and who refuses to take any pride in what he says or what he does. Josue (Josh) lied us pull the electrical and plumbing permits we asked for, but he pulled the permits with intended wrong scope of work, and he intended not to request needed inspections. He left us to deal with the big mess situation with lots of corrections and unnecssary costs down the road. We paid him upfront for each phase, but Josh did not finished any paid jobs, even worse, he did not pay his subcontractors, instead he directed these people to us for payment. We had to turn to the contractor board (cslb) and legal services for help. I hope no other homeowners will have to repeat our experiences. I would leave zero star if there is an option.
