    It all started pleasant enough with a strong referral from a friend. Once we met with the owner and submitted our plans we were told we would engineering plans and referred us to their engineer. Met with him and then didn't hear anything for over a month. After following up we were told the city wouldn't approve of the plan without an alteration, to which we waited another month and was then told by the contractor the engineer was sick and had forgotten about us. (Even though we had spoken to him the week before) Tony, the owner of Oro promised to contact the engineer and call me back. He called back later sharing that the engineers assistant was going to the city on Thursday and he would call me Thursday afternoon. The following Sunday, still not having heard back I sent an email to my friend who had referred me copying the contractor expressing how disappointed I was by yet again not having any communication. Received an email shortly there after from Oro Vista stating that there was an additional fee that was required and they would not be able to proceed without it ( first time I was hearing about it) and that since we had contracted with them they had accepted more jobs and would not be able to proceed for 3-4 months.

    The lack of communication and unprofessionalism is something I have rarely had to encounter, especially when we were planning on paying the $50,000 to do the work. I would not use their services and definitely not recommend anyone else to use their services either.
