Our home had a very dated layout, so we hired OT Bay Builders to remove a load-bearing wall and open up the space. Maurizio ran the job and did a fantastic job coordinating all the trades. We met Tom and Christina at their showroom to review the design, and it made a huge difference. Christina’s design ideas gave us better flow and more natural light. We had a few
unexpected structural issues once the wall came down, but the team handled it fast and safely, without adding delays. Their price was mid-range, but the results look like something far more expensive. The attention
to detail and professionalism throughout the process were excellent. We couldn’t be happier!

We hired this company to to do driveway encroachment work as per the requirements of the City of Fremont.
In the middle of work this company increased the quoted price. At the time of selecting this contractor he told me that he finish the job within 10 to 15 days. But he took more than two months. I lost precious time.
I did not feel that they are polite as well.
All in all, my rating is satisfactory. Do I recommend them to my friends, I say “no”. Overall star rating is 3.

I bought a house for short term rental house and I was looking for a contractor that can help me renovate the kitchen, completely relayout, and build a U shaped community bench in the dining area that maximize the space. The catch is.. it has to be done within 2-3 months. Everyone either refused the job or gave us crazy insane quote! And then I found O.T Bay Builders! Tom, our project manager, is so professional and super friendly. He communicates everything in details and well. He provides me with the drawing plans within a couple days and also 3d. I am an interior architect in the past, I provide him with the 3d drawings but not too details and Tom is kind enough to bring his experience and expertise to the table to make sure it's buildable. We collaborate ideas. He always asks great questions, follows direction, gives fast responds and gets things done. We love working with Tom, we have a few projects in mind for our other houses, and we will continue working with Tom. Nothing is too small for Tom, he executes and give you great quote, and he will get things done! I highly recommend Tom and O.T Builders team for any of your home improvement projects. We had our basement & garage conversion to junior ADU done by O.T Bay Builders and we are 100% happy with their work! We discussed with Tom in detail what we wanted done for our project. He was very receptive to our ideas and offered good suggestions.

Once the plans were finalized the work started. Some changes that we wanted to me made after the work commenced were also readily accommodated.

Throughout the whole process O.T Bay Builders readily communicated with us regarding the work status and various next steps. When we had some questions, Tom readily addressed them.

The work was completed at a steady pace, and we are extremely happy with how the basement has turned out.

A major home renovation can be scary, especially when it's a total gut and re-build of our 95-year old house. We approached the project with some uncertainty. Will we get what we wanted? Will they stay within budget? Can we trust the contractors we selected? With OT Bay Builders, the answers were 'YES'. For 8 months the Living Home team worked with us, our architect, and our designer to create our new home. Of course there were bumps along the way... a load-bearing wall removed , fitting all plumbing in a tight space, etc. But in the end, it all worked out.

The best things we can say about O.T bay builders are: They always made it right. The quality of workmanship was high. Our Project Manager Tom was always accessible and responsive. Their subs were great (we used and/or recommend them even after moving back in). Overall, we recommend OT Bay Builders if you want a good experience and a great product.
