  100% would stay away from this contractor. I agree with everything said above. We contracted Randy Creed to do some bathroom remodels for us. He lies constantly and cuts corners everywhere. The quality of the product and service to be provided was sub-par at best, and certainly not to the standard he initially presented. In addition, he insisted we pay him a specific draw amount at a very specific time so he could order supplies to complete a portion of the project. I did this is in good faith, only to learn he took the money and left the country on vacation. Of course, the work was never performed, and he lied daily about when someone was going to show up at the house to complete it (meanwhile we had pets locked away the whole time in anticipation of someone actually showing up). This went on for days and days (all while he's out of the country with our money btw). We finally had enough and ended the entire project incomplete and requested our money back. We're still waiting to this day and now he refuses to respond to our calls. Run away from Randy Creed and OTS Construction. A rock on the side of the road will do a better job and be more responsive to you.

  If you decide to hire this GC, please get EVERYTHING in writing (not just email) on a contract with a firm completion schedule.

  I hired OTS to rebuild my home after lightning strike fire destroyed roof and interior. Big mistake.

  He tried to install 80 inch doors where 96 inch doors were previously without my approval. I caught his workers on time and told him hell no. He never ordered the correct doors after I called him out. I had to pay a different contracter to buy and install doors which cost me $10000 extra even though he was paid for them.

  He lied to at least four of his sub contractors (electric, plumbing, stairs, painters). They personally told me Randy Creed did not pay them on time and blamed me for not paying him on time. All lies. I paid him every insurance draw on time or ahead of agreed schedule.

  He or his subs continually did not show up as promised throughtout the 11 months it took to rebuild my home. He got very personal with me, the customer, after calling out subpar work and materials on my home. Told me I was being nit picky after paying him $460,000 which was more than enough to cover quality materials and subs. I am allowed to be nit picky! He takes zero accountabilty for any mistakes he or his subs made. Refused halfway thru the job to talk and would only communicate via text.

  I informed him weeks ago that my
  roof is still leaking in one spot and he said he would send someone to fix it. Its obvious he is not going to fix it.

  I also discovered that he lied about my final electrical inspection being done. It actually failed for zero GFCI protection even though outlets have GFCI protection stickers on them. I spoke to both electricians that worked on my house per the permit. Both stated he told them to do some shady work, as in not replacing things that should have been per the insurance estimate. I have reported him to local permit office for this which should get him banned. He allowed my family to move into an unsafe house under a failed inspection for no GFCI anywhere. Permit expires in 60 days. He had no clue of that because he does not follow thru. I have to arrange for the inspection even though he was paid to handle that! I had to pay an elctrican to bring up code!

  I have had to get three major plumbing issues repaired, and all bathroom cabinets repainted due to peeling paint. Now, I have to pay to fix unsafe electical and leaking roof. He also failed to properly prime my walls before painting. Paint is peeling in numerous places when barely touched or any tape is applied. Drywall seam cracks are appearing as well after less than a year.

  Just the tip of the iceberg. I 100 percent advise do not hire OTS. Randy Creed is very dishonest. If you dont have it in writing on a bonified contract and reviewed by your lawyer, he will rip you off.
