    I contacted Ovadia Contracting LLC., because my wife and I were interested in updating our kitchen, expanding our bedroom and getting a laundry room out of our kitchen. Jerry the owner came out and gave us some new and fresh ideas, a couple days later he brought over an estimate (not by email), and explained the scope of work. Well, we went with his ideas, 2 weeks later his carpenter came in and started tearing down walls, which is scarier than you think. Jerry kept us calm. Lol… Well as his electricians, plumber, painters, cabernet guy, ceramic tile guy, carpenter and HVC guys came to the house they all were all very professional and respectful. One of the best things is someone showed up every day to work and they cleaned up behind themselves, everyday! I had a budget and I stayed with-in that budget, which was hard. As you know a lot of items come in “good-better-or best”. The next time I plan a project, that will one of my first considerations. Jerry gave me an estimate of 60days to complete the work, from start to finish; the work only took 32days, Wow!!! I would (do) recommend Ovadia Contracting LLC., to anyone looking for a General Contractor.

    In my opinion, Mr. Ovadia is the rudest man I have ever met and offers terrible customer service. He lost his temper and shouted at us on several occasions when we complained about his shoddy work on our house. I would never recommend Ovadia LLC to anyone.

    Many Building Code Violations

    Jerry Ovadia and his company Ovadia, LLC built a kitchen addition, deck, screened porch and more. There are numerous building code violations found by Baltimore County, Maryland building inspectors and confirmed by a judge at a hearing on 4/16/14, Civil citation # 092652830, under building permit B775302. He has not fixed these code violations. I have an estimate of over $100,000 to repair the work. I have already paid him over $100,000. He has filed a lawsuit against me to get me to pay even more. This has been a nightmare for me and my family.
