Put a new roofing surface on a portion of my home.

DO NOT HIRE THESE GUYS! My wife and I purchased a home in back in July of 2016 and Giovani and his crew put the roof on it. We had him come back to fix some of the brand new roof (the smaller flat part) which was already failing just after a few months of being installed. That should have been our first cue not to use Over The Top Roof Services. Giovani convinced us to go with a much more expensive roof instead because he cited the reason the roof was failing was because of the materials used by the contractor who was flipping the house. Things only got worse... While putting on the new roof, Giovani and his crew mis-measured the frame and it ended up being too short, which caused a dip by the gutter. He said in order to fix it, it would cost another $3,000 on our part because it's a much more involved fix. Not sure why, it's the most simple roof on the planet. Giovani claimed it wouldn't be a problem, so we just continued. As they kept going, I realized they left huge bubbles in the roof that they were going to just leave there. When I asked Giovani about it, he said, "Oh I can fix that," and cut all the bubbles out, then made a big patch. So basically, I have a brand new roof, with a big hole and a patch. If things couldn't get worse, Giovani put the wrong sized flashing on the roof edge, so when it rained, the water got into the cracks in my siding. When I called him again, he said that he knew the flashing wasn't wide enough and wanted to get a larger flashing, but it was the only flashing they had at the time he needed to purchase it. Seriously?!?! Giovani said he would come back and fix the flashing as well as the siding, however, after over 100 calls and texts, he was no where to be found. I finally had to reach him by pretending I was someone else and used a different phone number. When he answered, he claimed he was just about to call me. Sure... Once again, he was two weeks late getting there and "forgot" to fix the siding. When I called AGAIN, he was back into his usual routine, and never answered my calls. Finally, I just had someone else finish the siding and said goodbye to Over the Top Roof Services. I'm very worried about how the roof is going to hold up and what's going to fail next. For anyone who has used Giovani and his company in the past, I would strongly recommend having another company come out and look at his work. There is a good chance something wasn't done right. As a side note, I did just that. I had another roofing company come out and look at the work he had done on the rest of the roof and they said he had cut every corner possible, didn't install the flashing correctly, and it wasn't up to code. Giovani seems like a really nice guy when you are talking to him, but he's only out to make money and doesn't care how he has to do it. Think twice before using this company.
