In 1957, Bob Owens founded Owens Service Company.
The company developed some of the first preventive and predictive maintenance programs in the industry, including the concept of laboratory oil analysis, after learning of its use in the airline industry.
Owens set out to build what would become the first true "single-source service" provider.
In 2000, the Company bought an existing residential contracting firm, which became the Home Comfort Division within Owens Companies. In 2010 Handy Man and Plumbing Services were added in the evolution of becoming a single-source provider for Homeowners.
Owens Companies is a 25 year member of the Keystone Award Program in the Twin Cities, annually contributing 5% of income to charitable organizations.
Bob Owens passed away in March of 2006 having retired two years earlier. His son, Jim, Vice President, passed away in January 2009. Son John Owens is President and CEO.

I would not recommend them at all they did not do it correctly and I had it inspected twice. They are not the friendliest to and they avoid. So no I do not recommend them. They had to come out to my house twice to do the purple primer which they should have done that to begin with.
