We used Maka and P7 concrete to pour a concrete Pad that would be used for an above ground pool part of the year, and pickleball/bball the other part. It was absolutely essential that the pad be level and they knew this. We had previously used him for a small project that went well, but this was not the same experience. It has been 6 months without any resolution.
Communication was poor, they wouldn't show up when they said they would, and other times they showed up without letting us know. They didn't use enough rebar for the weight the pad would hold, and the top is already flaking off in large divots. The pad is not Level, and he admits that. We cannot proceed with our plan as we had it, and will have to rip out the pad and re pour. We have had 4 contractors look at it, and they all have said the same things about what is wrong with it.
On top of that, they poured in the rain, without even scheduling the concrete with us. We came home and concrete trucks were there, and they were pulling down our fence.
Lastly, while we had already paid a large sum before the concrete was poured, he got so upset that we were not happy, that he entered our backyard days later, and said if we were not happy, he could destroy and take the concrete legally. He would not leave when asked, and said he legally had the right to enter our property without permission because he had done work. We would not recommend him for any services.
