    He repaired the roof and convinced me to change a couple of extra things. He gave me 3 years warranty on labor. After the first rain, the ceiling started to leak. Now he does not answer his phone.

    Horrible person and roofer. Alex replaced two skylights. The one skylight that didn’t leak now leaks. He has lied to me several times about coming out to fix it. It has been two years. He also put up gutter guards and pulled my gutters away from the house. They now leak. Taking him to court.

    Alex replaced two skylights. He ordered one wrong size skylight and modified my roof to make it fit, WITHOUT PERMISSION! It has leaked for the past two years. He has promised repeatedly that he is coming to fix it. He never shows. I have hired an attorney and am about to proceed with legal action. Let me know if you want to join me.

    DO NOT use this contractor! Repeat... DO NOT use this contractor. Look on the BBB website with people complaining. Alex was suppose to replace our porch roof, our top roof and replace wood sheeting as well on half of the top. We gave 1/2 deposit when we signed the contract back in December 2017. He told us he worked thru the winter months. He did not began his work not till Feb. in which he bought some of the materials and put it in our driveway. He (workers) replaced the porch roof and did a horrible job. They broke some of siding and only stapled roofing paper to protect it from the winter elements. Left wood underlayment exposed in driveway. Last row of shingles near house was put on with exposed nails showing and not even a straight line and not tight against the siding. We had to put silicone where the asphalt shingles meet at corner of house to not allow water to penetrate.

    The top of roof was suppose to be taken down to plywood with new membrane, shingles and flashing. His workers only took the layer of shingles off just to replace the flashing. Then they went over the shingles that were already there in the middle . He left the step boards and braces hammered into the roof and part of the flashing flapping in the wind and our roof gutter only half secured! Part of the contract was for him to dispose of the trash that ended in our driveway for months and we had to dispose ourselves. We tried on numerous occasions ( text, voicemails and registered mail in which he refused) since the beginning of March 2018 get him back to finish/fix. In May 2018 when we had the hail storm in which because our gutter was not properly secured the water came into our front door. Also with the wind, one of the step boards from the roof blew off almost hitting out neighbors house. We put a complaint in with the BBB and he would not return there phone calls.

    We had to hire another roof contractor to finish the job and fix his workers errors (more money). Since the porch roof leaked from the gutter on the top roof, we had to replace wood on the porch ceiling and to match the same with the house that is 158 years old.

    Our last resort is to take him to civil court to re-coupe money.

    Terrible contractor, replaced a roof and it leaks. He came back out to see it, promised to fix it within the next couple days and hasn't responded to a phone call or text message since then. DO NOT USE this guy.

    I paid Alexander Beattie to perform Roof Repair and dry repair at 125 Kristin Dr, Etters, PA 17319. Alex was supposed to perform the above work and I provided down payment 1300 dollars as a deposit. I have texted with Alex for weeks and I haven't gotten any correspondence on this issue. I looked at my bank transaction and he cashed my check on the same day I sent it (10/05/2018). He has yet to perform any of the work that was outlined in my quote and he refuses to return the deposit. Sorry contractor and would never use. Alex Beattie is a liar and a thief and cannot be trusted. Wouldn't recommend this company at all.

    I hired Alex of Beattie to install my metal roof and replace gutters in November 2016. It took almost 4 months for him to complete the work that I was informed would take 2-3 weeks. During that time, he left my office open to the elements and we had multiple leaks. I called numerous times and he rarely returned my phone calls. After he finally finished the job, we have had many issues. The snow guards all came off and the gutters are not properly installed and the run-off from rain is causing all kind of problems. I have been told all the metal trim is not flashed properly. Even though I was told the roof had a 20 year warranty, he never answers or returns any of my phone calls. If this is how he conducts business, then he should not be in business and I would hope nobody would have to suffer through what I have dealing with this problematic roof. I am now looking at having to pay someone more than double of what I paid him to undue it all and put a new roof on. I would have been better off if he had just taken my money and ran off without doing any work.

    Fix leaking roof

    I am a disabled veteran... I have a leak in my roof that led to my sons ceiling falling in. Communication was started late the night before and the next day they asked what time I could have them be at my home. They were early and very very nice. Easy to talk to , down to earth guys and eager to help me with my problem and worked with me on a payment plan to fit my disability payment budget so I could have it repaired before the upcoming rain in a few hours...then they are pricing ceiling tiles for my double wide mobile home to come back to fix that after the moisture dries up in my sons room... I would recommend this company to everyone!!!!! Their quality of work was grade A ! Made me a very happy camper!!!!! But a company willing to work with the disabled veterans is top notch. I can’t say enough about how much I am pleased with this company and the men that were at my home fixing my leak I was in despair about. Thank you!!!!

    Replace Deck

    Got a recommendation from a coworker that Beattie Roofing also does other work as well. I called him to replace my deck on my house. They did a beautiful job. He really takes pride in his work. He even put little solar lights on the posts which we had not discussed. I will highly recommend Beattie Roofing to all of my neighbors and friends.

    They were so nice. They helped me make a decision to go with a metal roof and now all my neighbors tell me I have the best roof in the neighborhood. They were much cheaper than the other estimates I had and the job was top notch. I love Beattie Roofing and Sheet Metal
