I would not recommend this builder. I encourage anyone who has chose Alex to build their home to inspect all work before money is released during each phase of the build. We've had issues throughout our build and it was far from the delightful experience other reviews want you to believe. There was only 1 walkthrough and that was with the electrician. Most recently I tried to contact Alex with no response about why he canceled his insurance policy on our home before it was finished. This is causing us to pay for a lapse in his coverage. Due yourself a favor and research other builders.

We spoke with many different builders in the area, and none could come close with building our custom home to meet our wants. Alex and his team are very easy to work with and always keep you posted every step of the way.

We talked with several builders over the past couple of years before moving to Florida permanently. Finally our real estate agent suggested we look at the model from Palm Coast Homes Construction and felt this may be a solution. When walking into the model we observed many of the high end building designs that we were looking for. We met with Palm Coast Homes Construction and talked about some of our wants and needs. At that time we asked to visit one of the homes under construction. The home had the roof on and just starting to put up the walls which gave us a very good look at the construction and quality of the materials. We were impressed and felt they constructed a quality home.
Our next issue was that we were building on a cul-de-sac which meant our lot would require some adjustments to the layout. Most builders were fairly locked into to their layouts plans to the point that selections for items would come from there listed suppliers only. Palm Coast Homes Construction was not like that. We made moves for the layout you would expect from a custom made home. We moved walls, relocated items and changed demission’s to accommodate out lot and our wants. We were involved with selections of all the items that went into making our upscale finished home. As with all new construction and dealing with sub-contractors there were items that we felt were not correct, and in all situations Palm Coast Homes Construction made the changes and kept us on the same page. People that have come to our house have compared what we have to what they have seen in high scale homes built in gated communities.
We are very happy in our new home. We would highly recommend Palm Coast Homes Construction for your construction. They work hard at trying to meet your wants and not put you into a box of what they have always done in the past. -

We were looking for a builder who could work with us to build a custom home that we designed. It had to be a local builder with a reputation for doing quality work and who wasn't part of a large corporation so we could have a good rapport and work more directly with the owner. As an architect the hands on experience was a must for us. We found this to be true with Alex, the owner and his office staff. They were very accommodating. What was truly great is that the key subs were highly experienced and their workmanship was excellent. Alex paired the right sub with each complexity of work. In particular when it came to the interior we were able to work closely with the trim carpenters to achieve the estetics desired. The end result turned out to be a house that we are extremely proud of. We absolutely would have no hesitation recommending Palm Coast Homes Construction.

I would like to recommend Palm Coast Homes Construction for being so extremely helpful in turning what could have been the worst decision of our lives, into a great outcome and a perfect home.
During the beginning, we met numerous times with our Consultant and Coordinator - Marina Karaseva and what exciting meetings these were! Planning what we wanted our forever home to look like, picking our floor plans, tweaking and changing things to exactly the way we wanted them. From tiles to countertops to lights and cabinets. So much fun! The Consultant helped with every step and literally every little detail down to every outlet of the house ...
Once we started the physical building process the Construction Consultant was our contact and what a huge support she was. As we excitedly made trips to our big rectangular lot, and next a few walls that turned into our home, she was there every step of the way. Giving us updates, making sure we knew what to expect and helping us stay on track. The house finished in no time. They were so responsive with all of our delays with which we had no control over.
The owner Alex Samurin was great as well. He was the eyes and ears of our home as it was being built and did our final walk through with us when everything was complete. He was pointing out things that we probably would not have noticed had he not been on top of it.
I would DEFINITELY RECOMMEND this company to everyone who wish to get things done right way and on time. -

We had the house finished in no time!
Our experience with building a home has not been the smoothest. I would like to recommend Palm Coast Homes for being so extremely helpful in turning what could have been the worst decision of our lives, into a great outcome and a perfect home. Our journey started out bumpy and only got rougher the more roadblocks we encountered. Between our bank not giving us all of the information we needed, having to push our closing date off a total of three times, the county being absolutely stubborn with their permits. Planning what we wanted our forever home to look like, picking our floor plans, tweaking and changing things to exactly the way we wanted them. From tiles to countertops to lights and cabinets. So much fun! The Consultant - Coordinator, Marina Karaseva helped with every step and literally every little detail down to every outlet of the house.

We did not have a good experience with this builder. Communication was very difficult and we did not have scheduled meetings throughout the build like we were suppose to. When we met with the builder to show him the mismatched tile throughout the main living area he said he would not pay to fix it. He later emailed us that he would buy me a beautiful rug to cover it. 2 different lot numbers were purchased by the builder and it was 2 different shades. Needless to say we had to go to the flooring store to find a lot number that would match one or the other. It was at our cost and fortunately the tile guy did the correction at no cost. Would not recommend this builder.
