After completion of our bathroom remodel, we now literally give tours to our friends and neighbors. It's spacious and much safer with the ADA layout and new shower concept. Everybody finds the bright new look to be an investment and and enhancement. It adds value but is safer and that's most important. I next plan for my deck to be torn down and rebuilt and will again use Palmetto Renovations only. I have projects and they have expertise.

The project was our kitchen and the highlight is our island. Each detail of our custom-designed island was driven by the goal of adding an island while also creating additional space. It worked. The installation allowed for the reversed pentagonal design to infuse the inverted layout as our goal to actually create space. They are skilled with precision and we do recommend them highly.

We signed up last December and still have not gotten a start date. Things seem to be done single-threaded and the entire show stops for each individual hiccup. Although we paid for our building materials first in January (with final payment in March) we learned in June that orders were only just beginning. How was the money used for all that time?
In the meantime, designs were found by us to contain inaccurate measurements. Palmetto would not acknowledge or respond for months until after the materials were ordered based on those inaccurate measurements. Finally, new measurements were taken and it was no surprise to discover that items will not fit as planned. Additionally, the upstairs designs are not well thought out as they attempt to cram what they charged us for into the corrected measurements. This is the logical consequence of months of ignoring or downplaying our warnings.
Another request never acknowledged by Palmetto despite repeated requests is our ask for an as built design showing measurements of the pre-existing floor plan to assist our efforts to create a viable design on our own.
Below is our latest communication sent last week:
“Thank you for responding. The diagrams you sent did not include the as is diagrams we requested . Please send as soon as possible.
The proposed design for the second floor is not acceptable due to a number of reasons previously discussed with your staff. We will respond further on these points after we receive the as is diagram. There have been repeated delays in Palmetto’s acknowledgment and response to the as is request. We require you to provide the diagram by end of day Tuesday, September 12.
Further delay on this request must be considered an act of bad faith by Palmetto Renovations.”
No response at all. The reason must be their fear we are retaining an architect as our representative to Palmetto and, hopefully, an expediter. If so, they’re right.

They extremely friendly and helpful people who are right to have pride in their work. I’ve seen several homes they’ve worked on and see the quality the instant I walk in. They have a great staff and a beautiful showroom! I would recommend them to anybody!

This company has performed work on my neighbors home. The whole team was professional, on time and they performed excellent work. They were constantly communicating with her during each phase of her remodel thereby alleviating "surprise" additional costs. No revisions were made without her approval, which is the way it should always be, but as I and she has found not to be with other contractors. She was extremely, extremely satisfied with all work performed as well as with the team performing the work.

I was looking into having my driveway expanded and was referred by a good friend to Palmetto Renovations. My Project Specialist, Justin, came out to my home to take pictures, measurements and walk me through the whole process. I couldn't be more impressed with his knowledge and professionalism! Palmetto Renovations of Columbia, Inc Employees
We worked with Palmetto Renovations from fall of 2023 through February of this year and we should have connected with their design specialty showroom and staff years ago as our home has never looked better. Our kitchen finally features real stone quartzite with a blend of stunning LVP waterproof flooring, elegant tiled backsplash and an entirely new lighting system from chandeliers to the under cabinet lighting. They replaced a window in the bay area to match the exterior clad. All trim was stained and by the time things were wrapped up, there were no imperfections to even address. It was an experience to brag about.
