    Purchased a house from them and the final product was delivered unsatisfactory. Took a lot of complaining for them to get the scope of work completed.
    Gave a personal loan to be paid back in full after closing and now they’re unwilling to repay. They are bad business and dishonest. Avoid!

    They just finished our kitchen remodel. Went down to the bare studs and exposed the subfloor. Very professional, competent, capable, hardworking. Got 5 bids. One from a DIFFERENT contractor who did our bathrooms 5 years ago. Bathroom job was good and has held up well, but bathroom contractor's bid seemed a little vague so I decided to get some competing bids. Glad I did. Bathroom contractor's was highest. Other 4 (including Peter's) were all very close.

    Peter's "worker bees" who did nearly all of the day to day work (Jonathan and Romiro) were relentless in their effort to produce a quality product. They frequently went beyond what I would have considered necessary. It became clear early on that they took pride in producing a quality product. I personally had hired the cabinet maker, granite contractor and flooring contractor before I signed on with Peter and his crew. The cabinets came out good, the granite looks very nice, and the floor is great, but things would never have come together as well as they did without the efforts of Palo Alto Home Improvements.

    An Example of how things went: When my cabinet maker came by to help me with some minor problems, he complimented the quality of the installation job that Peter's people (Jonathan & Romiro) had done. Said their work made his cabinets look even better. Many cabinet makers leave a strip of wood along the vertical side of a cabinet that have one side against a wall. Many walls are neither plumb nor straight. The strip of wood can be trimmed to conform to the walls irregularities in order to achieve a tight fit between the side of the cabinet and the wall. Once Jonathan and Romiro had leveled the cabinets next to the walls, instead of trimming the wood strip, they used drywall compound to bring the surface of the wall out to the vertical edge of the cabinet. More work for them, but the lines where the sides of cabinets meet the wall is perfectly straight AND plumb.
    I know that there will be things that I'll wish I had done differently, but I'm pretty certain I'll never regret hiring PAHI.
