  Like many others here, I have been unable to contact Alex or Paragon Mechanical after the initial 'install' or my unit. They replaced the outside condenser unit but have yet to replace the condenser coil or refill the unit with coolant. He cut into the sheet metal that the furnace was on without consulting me then promptly said that I needed to replace my furnace because the CPM was too high for my unit. After a quick search, the CPM for my furnace was within the tolerance for my AC and if I went lower, it wouldn't be able to heat my home correctly. I have tried calling and email, as well as reaching out to AHS with no luck. I would recommend avoiding this company like many others have suggested.

  American Home Shield should absolutely stop using this contractor. He doesn't show up for appointments and doesn't communicate. Obviously this is a pattern of behavior and it's shocking that American Home Shield continues to recommend this contractor when it reflects so badly on their brand. If american Home Shield recommends Paragon Mechanical LLC to you insist on hiring your own contractor instead or you'll regret it.

  Company will not return calls to come back and troubleshoot their work. Paid a lot of money for new equipment and then it promptly stopped working. Do not use this company.

  HVAC diagnostic/repair

  Was assigned this contractor through warranty. Had a pleasant phone call with Alex and we easily scheduled my appointment for a week out. The morning comes and the technician does not arrive within the four hour window (8am to noon). I get an automated text from my warranty company saying they're on their way at 11:57a.m with an arrival time of 12:10p.m. I wait until 12:50p.m. with no update or contact saying they would be late, and contacted their number to cancel the appointment as I had other appointments in the afternoon. Never heard back from them. On Monday they suddenly cancelled my service altogether with not a word. Absolutely would not recommend. Not even sure why Alex is working as a contractor if he's not interested in actually fulfilling appointments?

  Worst contractor I have ever dealt with. Very unethical and unresponsive to calls. Totally tries to rip off customers!! Don't use this company for any work!! They should have their license revoked by the State of Oregon and all states they do work in!

  Extremely unprofessional. Did not bother to call when they missed my service window. Did not make attempts to make it right. This is a vendor through American Home Shield Insurance, and they need to be removed immediately.

  I had a similar experiences with paragon mechanical, as technician showed up on few days ago to repair my AC and he looked around AC unit and told that we need to change the control panel and he disconnected power to AC and after that no calls or no further communication to American Home Shield Insurance, and it is totally bad customer service and why the AHS is allowing this kind of contractors in the first place...

  New ac and coils

  Had new system installed 6/23/20 and paid in full at time. Still do not have working system. Owner does not return calls, don't do business with them!
