Paramount Chimney & Gutter

Do not use this company! I hired them to fix a chimney leak. Their staff are not trained or knowledgeable. After five months of back and forth, the leak was not fixed and the workers had permanently stained a large area of my roof.

Professional, knowledgeable inspector, explained everything after a thorough inspection, gave us a written proposal for work we could have done

This company is terrible. They held themselves out to be experts when they did an inspection for the purpose of a home sale. After they certified that the work would be done up to code, we had smoke coming into our house. In fact, they came out and looked at the fireplaces on several occasions and assured us that the fireplaces were completely safe and in working condition. It was not until we got a second and third opinion that we were told we should under no circumstances use the fireplaces as they are a fire hazard. I could have burned my family alive in my new house. Think on that. Each time they came out they assured us how much they cared and how they would never put us in a dangerous situation. Yet, they have refused to fix the problem and continue to tell us that the smoke coming in the house is based on some other basis (old windows, chimney too close to the windows, etc). They do not care about you or about doing honest and competent work. They are also NOT experts in chimney repair as they gave us a faulty inspection and put our lives at risk. DO NOT hire this company. Unprofessional amateurs.

These people are horrible. We had a guy named Jeff come to our house and perform repairs and inspection associated with home purchase. He certified our chimneys, but then for next 4 months we called him out 4 times because our second floor was getting somkey every time we used our fireplace. Everytime he showed up, he told us we have a abnormal wind condition that is causing smoke to be blown back into our house. So we hired another 2 chimney companies that performed inspections and found deterioration withing our chimneys to the point of them being a fire hazard! Now they are giving our so much run around we have to take them to small claims court to try to get our money back. Do yourself a favor and hire someone else. These people are scam artists.

They were in my house for about 1/2 hour of work. About 2 hours after they left, I use my fireplace, went up stair for about 20 min. and my smoke detector went off. My house was full of smoke. I look back and remember that the worker only use 3 pole when he was cleaning out my chimney.

Gave the worker my CC to pay my bill, he said he need to go to his truck to run my CC. On Sunday morning, I get a text from my CC Company asking me if I authorize a charge of $255.44 from VENMO. which I did not do.

Call the office first thing Monday morning , to tell them about my 2 problem. The lady on the phone said that the her guy call in the number to her for CC charges. Then why did your guy go to his truck to call you and not make the call in front of me.
