I contacted Patrick J Brittain & Son Electrical Contractor Inc. and set up an appointment for the following Tuesday at 8:30am. I was quite surprised when 8:30 came and went and the electrician was a no show. At 9:15 I called and left a message detailing our prior conversation and appointment time. I received a call back stating that he had forgotten to put the appointment in the book. I was willing to let it go and he stated that someone would be at my house within 45 minutes. Nearly an hour later I received another call from the worker assigned to my appointment who stated he was on his way and would be another 10 minutes or so. At this time I no longer felt compelled to give this company my business or money and told the worker to forget it since it was now nearly two hours later than our initial appointment.
In this failing economy one would think that being on time, keeping track of appointments, keeping customers happy and ultimately making money would be a priority.
