Stay away from patriot pool builders. The owner Michael Semler has deleted his google account because of all the horrible reviews and just deleted his patriot pool builders Facebook page. The absolute worst company. He abandoned my pool job and i can’t get ahold of him. He hired an unlicensed plumber who tried to put a lien on my house because Michael wouldn’t pay the guy. The plumber also tapped the wrong plumbing line when doing the pool plumbing and it has been concreted over. Michael won’t come and fix it and has left me high and dry. I submitted a complaint to the state contractors license board. Everyone else should do the same. This guy should not have a license. He illegally hires unlicensed incompetent subs and abandons projects before they are finished. Complete lack of professional. It’s a total scam company.

Beware of this company, they are a SCAM. They will take your hard earned money and run. Poor communication and doesn’t respond to text or callls. Started excavation, gas lines and drainage with no building permit and stated prior to construction that they have everything. Dept of building safety verified that there was no permit applied. Beware, they are removing the reviews on google basically to scam another family again.

2/17/21 signed contract for new in-ground pool & gave deposit. A few weeks later they confirmed they submitted plans/permit application to the county and we had to wait 6-8 weeks for approvals. They asked to meet on 4/2 to go over the project where they assured us the permits would be approved any day now. On 4/27, I emailed them as we were getting to the 8-week mark, I got a response that they were still waiting on permit approval and that Michael (owner) had submitted a request to Building and Safety for status. That was the last time I heard from them. I sent several emails, calls, texts and they have yet to respond to any. I called the Building and Safety dept myself and found out a permit request was NEVER submitted. They lied the entire time! I found a recent review on Google from someone nearby with a similar story, they dug the hole and then went MIA. He too called the county and found out permits were NEVER filed! Michael and Patrick are defrauding people and should lose their license!
