Federally-Funded CDBG Housing Rehabilitation of the historical building: the roof replacement, inclu

Patriot Response Group, LLC. committed fraud on our federally-funded project: No.: 2023-5606-C / SW 3rd Street, Stuart, Florida 34994-Housing Rehabilitation FDEO HUD Small Cities CDBG. The contractor knowingly and deliberately filed a falsely notarized Notice of Commencement with the Martin County Clerk of Court. They even used the notary with the same last name as ours. In conclusion of the investigation, the State of Florida requested the notary's immediate resignation of his commission as a Florida notary public. Patriot Response Group performed the most shoddiest and destructive work on our historical building: The 1895 Church of Stuart (8MT346), which is appears to meet the criteria for listing in the National Register of Historic Places. The contractor legally acknowledged and certified with the signature the document that states our building is historically significant and rehabilitation should be done in accordance with the State mandates. The contractor deliberately didn't submit the CDBG Scope of Work on the building permits. The contractor committed fraud on the roof. Instead of installing the new roof ridge vent system listed in the CDBG scope of work, the contractor completely sealed the roof ridge vent and faked the installation. The contractor inflicted over 1 inch cut into the rafter by cutting out the decking boards on our historical building's roof. The contractor didn't address the damages our roof had and didn't repair them, instead, the contractor covered the dames, and inflicted more damages by over-nailing our rafters. The first deck replacement took place on May 22, 2024, and failed on June 12, 2024, resulting in the roof's multiple leaks. The second deck replacement took place on June 21, 2024, and again the roof leaked. The contractor never replaced the boards that should be replace. The contractor removed the good boards from our historical building's roof and took them somewhere. We documented everything with photos and videos. The contractor replaced the boards of on the historical building's roof with the plywood. The contractor installed the wrong hurricane ties and installed them incorrectly. The contractor didn't notify the building department about the hurricane ties installation and didn't provide any specifications. The contractor inflicted more damage with these ties. The contractor negligently ordered the oversized replacement windows and damaged our building. The first installation of the replacement windows took place on July 5th, 2024. The contractor could not install three replacement windows due to their size. All 17 replacement windows were installed incorrectly. The contractor altered our existing load bearing walls without any structural plans. The re-installation of the 17 replacement windows took place on July 10, 2024. The contractor inflicted more damage to our rough openings and frames. The contractor patched the holes, they created in the exterior load-bearing walls with the window silicone sealer. The silicone sealer is falling out in chunks. Patriot Response Group filed a fraudulent lien on us on November 4, 2024, after FloridaCommerce (the State Department) sent the letter to the City of Stuart on October 18, 2024, stating that "the work completed on the home located at 311 South West 3rd Street... may not be eligible for reimbursement with Federal funds." FloridaCommerce instructed the City of Stuart to pay from the City's funds to rid of lien as the City failed to supervise the contractor on the federally-funded program. We also filed our complaint with the HUD OIG. On November 22, 2024, SHPO sent the letter to the City, stating: "Based on the information provided, the completed work does not conform to the Secretary of the Interior's Standards for the Treatment of Historic Properties and does not meet the conditions set forth by this office in our 2023 letter..." The State Historic Preservation instructed the City of Stuart to remove the oversized replacement windows installed by Patriot Response Group, and install the new correct size replacement windows. My husband and I, do not recommend to use Patriot Response Group on any projects, whether it is a federally-funded project or your own private project. Patriot Response Group brings unskilled workers, commits fraud, files fraudulent documents, lies to the owners and the building departments, and instead of rehabilitating or improving the buildings, they cover-up the damages and inflict more damages with their shoddy and unprofessional work. This company is the Federal-Funds, taxpayers' money hustler! My husband's signature was forged on the Change Order for $2,500. Patriot Response Group and Guardian Community Resource Management, Inc., a company that reviews the contractor and also supposed to supervise them, produced this fraudulent document and signed it. You always can contact us for the State letters, documents, correspondence, photographs and videos. In Martin County, the subcontractor, hired by Patriot Response Group on the Federally-Funded program SHIP, filed liens against three homeowners. Apparently, Patriot Response Group doesn't pay the subcontractors. On our property, I personally witnessed a conversation between the contractor Patriot Response Group and the subcontractor, when subcontractor stated Patriot Response Group didn't make a deposit to the subcontractor.

Repair all of the damage from Hurricane Irma

Does not return phone calls….with Florida rebuild program and the only thing they’re interested in is “the check”. They installed vinyl storm windows so badly that they refuse to take my calls.they came 1” smaller than ordered but installed anyway with so much chaulking and screws left everywhere! Chaulking won’t stick cuz gap is too big. They’re “recessed” in behind the hardy plank siding leaving the sides of the hardy board exposed to the elements. The workers said “just paint it”!!!!they refused to report the “molded” Sheetrock from Hurricane Irma’s damage from 2017 after waiting until june2021 to get to my “ priority “ disabled 60 yr old woman’s home leaving me homeless with no water heater or shed to place it in. Instead of replacing the molded and rotten Sheetrock Vance Olvey told his worker to patch it saying “ she’s too disabled to do anything about it” after I pleaded for their help with this Florida Rebuild Program. They had me place all my belongings in a unair-conditioned pod that further molded all contents!!! Beware of Rebuild Florida and This patriot response group,Llc from Vero. This program promised to repair all damage “up to code” so I wouldn’t sustain further damage from future hurricanes….I need help so I don’t loose my home and this group could care less but they got all Fema’s contracts to repair as little as possible while maximizing their profits leaving senior citizens homeless waiting on them.
