I would not allow Paul Erico into your home. He did plumbing work in my house for 19 years and consistently did poor work and overcharged me. He was able to do this because at the time he was the only plumber on the island. Nonetheless, I always paid him immediately on the same day. Last summer I had a plumbing emergency at the height of the tourist season. Paul Erico came into my house, did not give me an estimate ahead of time, unclogged the clogged sink and charged me $900. He did not provide an itemized bill. He just came up with a number. I had not planned for that amount, but Paul was unwilling to work with a payment plan. I had major health setbacks at the time and was not able to pay him right away. He immediately went to Court and put a mechanics lien on my house. There are other plumbers and electricians on Peaks Island now. Do not let this man into your house. You will get shoddy work, a bad attitude, be overcharged, and risk having a lien put on your home.
