Paul was referred to us by S&G carpeting because we found our own tile and just needed an installer. When Paul came to quote the job we were thorough in our explanations, he seemed to understand the details and had no questions. We were told that it would be a 2-day job and that he would have an assistant with him. The job took 8 days to complete. The assistant only showed up once. For a few days, Paul showed up at 2:30p and worked until 5pm. One day he just didn't show up at all - a phone call would have been nice. On another occasion he said he'd be there at 11am and didn't show up until 5pm. Towards the end of the project he wanted to be paid before the job was complete. It was really not an enjoyable experience.
The quality of the install job was fine. The tile floors were only wiped, not cleaned, after the install. I had to get in there and scrub all the excess grout away.
If you are looking for a contractor who takes their time, has other priorities, lacks in communication, but does alright work then don't hesitate to go with Paul. We will not be using him again for any future flooring work.
