    Oil spill remediation

    Based on my experience with Paulson Excavating Inc., I would highly recommend against using them. I contracted with them for an excavation project in Fort Bragg and their estimate for the work was $25,000. The estimate was prepared by their owner, Brian Paulson. Upon completion of the work, I received a bill for over $52,614 . . . over 100% of the estimate. At no time during the work did I receive any notification of the increased cost. When questioned about the increase, they were uncooperative and refused to explain the lack of notification.
    If you are considering using Paulson, I would strongly encourage you to find another company that can provide an accurate estimate and honor it.
