The price of the project came in perfect, and the owner is extremely attentive and kind - quick to fix any issues or suggest resolution. Unfortunately, the quality of the work is straight up poor and to the point where we will need to rehire help to fix the issues PCL created. PCL poured concrete piers in the ground and didn't backfill the holes, and the piers are sticking out from the ground close to 8". This is going to look odd when we go to pour a patio. Deck boards are uneven, there are large uneven gaps in the boards spaces, and there are areas where deck boards are not screwed in - such as the railing and the columns. A flight of stairs was redone when we requested they be attached correctly, and when it was redone, the stringers were cut so crooked that they are actually starting to crack under pressure from walking up them. I wish I could post photos to BBB, but overall, we would not recommend this company to work on a deck, regardless of how kind and convincing they are.
