I hired Mike for 2 projects, one in 2017 and one recently. Both projects were done professionally and timely. 2017 required a new outside master valve and the 2018 project included replacing 3 faulty fittings/pipes that had caused a flood in my downstairs and required breaking through the outside wall of the house as well. Mike put in almost 8 hours of work on 2 separate occasions, including removing/re-installing my sink/cabinet and re-cementing the outside wall. I was pleased with the quality of his work and would definitely hire him again.

I called Pelican Plumbing, Mike to see why there was a small drip for the garbage disposal in my Condo. Mike showed up at scheduled appointment time looking neat and professional. He looked under the sink and tested the disposal that was jammed and not working. He told me I needed a new one as it was leaking from an improper connector that was installed with it. He said I needed a new one and he had it on the truck. I asked how much, He said " $345.00 " !! I said are you crazy, thats a 69.00 Item and twenty minutes install. That's robbery.. Well I told him to see why it's dripping all of a sudden.. He didn't even check to try to fix it as something must have loosened. I am willing to bet that he just wanted to rip me off for the $345.00 and not even attempt to fix the drip.. I am going to go back with Teflon tape and reseal the connector and if the drip stops I will file a complaint with the county. He then told em there is an $85.00 service fee for the call which he never advised me of in the 3 previous phone calls I had. CAVEAT EMPTOR,,, Let the Buyer beware...

I haven’t had the greatest experiences with contractors in the past, and Mike was a refreshing affirmation that there are responsible, competent, punctual, personable, and fairly priced professionals out there, and Mike is certainly one of them! Highly recommended!!!
