    As far as our experience goes with Pena, overall it was not that great. There were serious financial implications where we ended having to spend significant dollars on the job to complete electrical, plumbing, siding and general handy work. They completely miss managed the financial aspect in a big way and as a result continued to request money beyond the milestones agreed to in the contract. It became apparent when they ran out of money as the main guy was the only one doing any work. With all do respect, there is only so much a single individual can do on a fairly significant project. In addition much of what he did on plumbing and electrical we had to have it redone because it was not up to code. There were big gaps in communication, where weeks went by and no one would show up and they were unable to be reached. At times, they did try to work with us but the ability was just not there. So one day I frustrated the lead guy by questioning the install on a pocket door and he left and never returned. We completed things by subbing out on our own. We have filed a complaint against their license.

    Ray was not able to give me a bid until he "talked to his stucco guy", which will take about 4 more days.
