We sent a detailed quote with individual line items explaining what work would be performed. Why would you assume installing trim was included with installing flooring when we never discussed any trim and I didnt mention trim in the quote? I even offered to just install it for free and eat the labor cost so you wouldn't be upset and you still leave a negative review in an attempt to hurt us. I even apologized for the miscommunication. We work hard to exceed expectations and I'm sorry you didn't have the best experience possible with us.

Professional and timely. This crew went above and beyond for our project, working on weekends and sending daily updated text messages about project progress! Its hard enough even getting a response from contractors now a days, Justin and his crew cleaned up daily and even worked in their socks to keep the floors clean sometimes! Definitely recommend these guys! We love our floors again!!!

These guys are great! We used Penn Flooring & Restoration to refinish our antique heart pine floors. They even hand sanded and stained our hand rails on the steps! We looked for months and couldn't find anyone that would help us sand and stain the railings. Awesome work, we highly recommend!

Highly recommend the Penn Flooring & Restoration team! Chad and Justin were great from start to finish. You can tell they have years of experience. They made our antique Pine floors look absolutely AMAZING again!!!

Penn Flooring did an amazing job refinishing our 4" Red Oak floors in our foyer, dining room and kitchen. The invoice even came in under the original estimate! Who ever heard of that actually happening?! Highly recommend their team!
The flooring installation was done to perfection! Very positive comments from all who have been able to see the job. My low rating is not for the job, it is for the way the owner attempted to squeeze me for more money.
When we talked about the flooring installation I assumed the quarter round installation was included in the price. Why would you install new flooring and not install new quarter round? Well that was our point of contention. He insisted that I pay for the quarter round installation and I said no.
Here is part of our conversation:
Justin: How would I know what your plans were if you didn't mention anything about what all needed installed? Installing flooring versus installing trim are 2 different things that both have their own labor hours I have to account for.
Me: I thought that It was an all in quote. I have never negotiated flooring installation versus shoe molding installation separately when I've had projects done in my home in the past. If there is going to be a charge for the shoe molding installation, then I will install it myself. I will take care of the trash too.
Justin: It just should have been part of the discussion when you were explaining the scope of work you needed help with. I'll have them install the moulding today if they can leave with final check. Happy to help sorry for miscommunication.
Me: I really don't want to get into pissing contest about the molding, but you are installation professional. Can you really expect me to know what is or isn't included? I will do it myself.
My point is, be aware of the scope of your job. Penn Flooring will not ask you the questions that need to be asked about the job. They will wait and spring it on you when you least expect it! It left a sour taste in my mouth. I can’t recommend them for this reason.
