Gave a deposit, wrote a contract. Took money and ran. Do not give this person money upfront. They'll do the work if you dont pay up front. Otherwise, just give him your wallet.

We signed a contract I gave them a deposit and then I never heard form them again. I cant get them to return my calls. They ripped me off.

First check November 16, 2022 to seal up roof, then hired him to remodel, he asked for three checks up front, was given a total of $14,000 beginning of March, said work would be done so someone could move in, in two weeks, still not done, has come twice in two months, just done some painting and mudding, no drop cloths, no taping windows, there is mud on absolutely everything, paint on the carpet, will have to be replaced, mud and paint on cabinets that were newly refinished, brand new handmade cedar door, lighting, windows, frames, everywhere. Said properly insulated, thermal camera shows that's a lie, put lighting/electrical up without boxes, would not pass an inspection. All work needs to be demo'd and re-done. Put all upper newly refinished kitchen cabinets outside, all are ruined, will have to buy new ones.
