    Mr. Garrity needs to be stopped from stealing hard working peoples money. I filed in Dorchester District Court and won a judgment against him. The judgment has been executed, and I will be filing a Capeas to have Mr. Garrity arrested given he has not paid the judgment as ordered by the court. If anyone knows Mr. Garrity or has had money stolen, please post or contact me at [email protected]
    It is important to stop this man, he is a fraud and has no remorse for stealing from people. Beware that Devon Leahy his daughter appears to be involved in the contracts also. All addresses listed above are false. We tracked his professional address from his license and it was false also. He uses multiple false addresses. If you need to serve him legal paperwork, do it through the registry based on the address for his license, which is also a false address, but it is considered to meet the requirements for legally serving him. Use the Sheriff or the Constable's in your area to assist. Don't allow him to get away with stealing your money.

    I would love to discuss Mr. Garity with you as he also took the deposit we gave him an a John Sacco for construction of a porch which they never started work on despite numerious calls and promises to do such for months. I have filed just filed suit and am working on getting subpoena's served. I of course would give him zero stars but this makes me give him at least one to submit the review..

    I was referred to Mr. Garrity by my realtor. Initially, Mr. Garrity came out to my home and he was very professional. He gave me an estimate for my roof deck within three days. I quickly signed the contract and sent it with the deposit.

    I paid the the deposit and the first 50% of the fees given that Mr. Garrity requested to purchase supplies as outlined in the contract. Work did not start for almost a month, I asked if he had obtained the required permit, and he said Yes, it would be posted in the afternoon. Later he told me that he had not obtained the permit as outlined in the proposal. The city came and placed a stop work order on the project and threatened to fine me.

    Mr. Garrity assured me that it was all a mistake and that he would take care of it. I have waited for two months, and there has been no permit or progress.

    On or around August 25,2012 I called Peter again given that he had promised to have started the work with the permit on August 23, 2012. Peter told me that he had not obtained the permit, and he had no funds to pay the architect.

    I refused to give him the money, and I went to the Architect and paid him directly for the plans. He explained that Mr. Garrity made arrangements for them, but he never returned to pay for them. I apologized. Immediately, I called Mr. Garrity and asked him to come and pick up the plans so that he could get the required permit.

    Mr. Garrity picked up the plans, and he assured me that he would obtain the permit on August 27, 2012. I tried to call him on August 26, 2012, his phone was disconnected. I traced his phone number to the Garrity Group, but he is not affiliated with them anymore.

    I have not been able to contact Mr. Garrity through his email. He has not responded. I am expecting that after three months and no progress I will need to file in court to sue him.

    I do not recommend him based on my experience. I have filed with the Better Business Bureau, and I will file against his professional license as a contracting supervisor.
