We hired this contractor to build a 2nd story addition to our ranch style home. Within 1 week of starting the project our existing home was destroyed because after removing the roof the crew failed to waterproof the home. Torrential downpours and wet, heavy snow flooded the house which had to be gutted down to the studs. We were advised to let him continue working on the addition and he and his crew continued to make mistakes that then needed to be fixed and sometimes fixed more than once. 4 1/2 months later the project is finished to his satisfaction but not to ours. Still many issues and we are very disappointed with the quality of the work. The restoration crew refused to begin work on the main level until his crew was done so as of today our home is still uninhabitable. Most of our furniture and personal possessions were also lost. I would not recommend Giles Construction.
