Mike Peterson completely overcharged me. A job to install a chandelier price was quoted at $600 which became $999 on the job. He gave me no explanation of the high prices and for 4 weeks I had to call him for an itemized receipt. He told me his wife Lisa would send it...not. I still do not have an itemized receipt. $600 was to include a leader but he added $145. extra for it.
The extra $399 I figured was for changing the light switch, without telling me what he was doing, gluing a vent, and changing a light bulb in a ceiling light.
$399 divided by these 3 items equals $133. per 5 minute chore. He did take the price down to $ 100 each from $133. Thats $1200 per hour!!
When I complained he walked out the door. I called him a coward for not discussing my questions. He walked out glaring at me.
Usury, unethical, dishonest, insulting, ugly and a miserable experience. 3 days later the light would not go on and we had to fix it ourselves since he was out of town.
He walked out without saying a word.
