    I was so pleased with the treatment I received from Robert Phillips and David Hoover back in 2010 and again in Sept 2012 that I went back for more! I decided to have the windows replaced on my rental property; Just as I wrote in my review on floors and painting, the work was done unsupervised.

    David and Robert worked in tandem with their crews and once again, they did a beautiful job. David took care to do the installation correctly and Robert worked hard to blend the paint and stucco so as to make the windows look as if the house was built that way originally.

    In the middle of the work, however, it was discovered that the electrical box needed to be replaced for safety reasons, so Robert arranged for an electrician to do the work and connected me directly with the contractor, Gary Hodges. As a result, Robert did not collect a fee for the electrical. The work was done efficiently and with the same level of quality expected. Birds of a feather do indeed flock together.

    When I visited the property last week, I was thrilled with what I found! Apparently, Robert sent his A team out a couple of days earlier to clean the windows a second time and spiff up the house in anticipation of my arrival two days later. I don't know about you, but I have never found a contractor I could trust to work unsupervised without taking advantage.

    My reviews may read as a love fest for Phillips and Hoover, but I swear on a stack of Holy Bibles; I did not know these guys from Adam when I first hired them back in 2010 so it's not like I'm a relative or on commission. Everything I’ve written is the truth. These men have been a Godsend. They are blessed to be a blessing!

    Phillips and Hoover are the best thing since pockets! Hire them. I promise; you will be so glad you did!

    Robert Phillips and David Hoover are Simply the Best as the song goes!

    Robert Phillips handles the building and remodeling and David Hoover does the roofing and windows. These guys do EXCELLENT work and they are extremely reliable and ethical. In 2010, I first hired David Hoover to put a new roof on my rental property in El Paso. You can check out the review I wrote for him in Oct of 2010.

    It is important that I point out that I live in La Jolla, California and have no family in El Paso; Keep in mind that the work I describe here was done COMPLETELY UNSUPERVISED!

    In Aug of 2012, my tenants were moving out so I talked to Robert Phillips about putting in floors when it became vacant. I also asked him to "be my eyes" and tell me what else he thought needed to be done. (I had visited El Paso in June so I had an idea.) Not only did he accommodate me, he even went to the property to get the keys from the tenants and dealt with them personally to help me with the move out. He was patient, generous with his time, and advised me conservatively by only suggesting that the interior be painted as well. I'm not much of an interior decorator. I am a professional singer and focus on entertaining people and drafting ironclad contracts for my performances. I asked Robert to pick out the carpet, the tiles, and the paint. He was wonderful about it. He has impeccable taste, by the way, and matched everything together beautifully.

    They did all the work completely unsupervised and went the extra mile for me to make sure everything turned out perfect. They even arranged for the house to be cleaned and the trash that my former tenants left behind to be hauled away, as well as cleaned up the yard for me. Robert sent me pictures of the work and I was very pleased. These guys are simply the best, better than all the rest...
